Wests Tigers at Melbourne Storm

The play...

Storm +6.5 (2 units)

Storm are a well coached side and it's Bellamy's 250th game. Storm have a decent record during Origin last 3 years, mainly without Slater and Smith though. Tigers dropped 40 in a monsoon last week so are prime for the fade. On the road I wouldn't touch them but being home I have to have a punt and I'm actually pretty confident...

my only question is, do the books want people to think wow why are the storm underdogs and secretly all the bums are putting their welfare checks on the storm?

yeah but the first thing i thought when i saw the line at start of the week was wow storm underdogs im getting on that! (i didnt at the time) i worry that other average joes may get that impulse

A bit of luck and a bit of defense got us that one. Storm would have won though if the young half had of passed it out wide instead of kicking it.

Cleary should have the book on his old charges and the Warriors at this stage are undeserved of the favorite role on Aussie soil. Not too mention wet weather is sometimes the great equalizer. Pennies also 7-2 SU on Monday since 2009...
