There were promising signs from the Storm on Saturday imo. Finch as another option for Smith, and Inglis out wider should equate to more attacking opportunities this week. Whilst Proctor is a big loss, has been one of their best, wouldn't be surprised to see Manu back this week – although match fitness could be lacking. White came through the Warriors game unscathed and will be better for the run. If they are around 1.90 for the win, I'll be all over them. Manly still maintains its 30% win ratio without Stewart at the back and a grinding game should suit the Storm better as that is what they have encountered two weeks running in the wet.

Worth noting that hard hitting Manu didn't travel to Sydney with the Storm and appears to be another week or two away. A lot will fall on Blair and White to ignite the Storm go forward, with White out to prove his origin credentials. Hard match, if the Sea Eagles can finish off their breaks, they will score some points, but the Storm defence shouldn't allow as many gaps as the Cowboys did.
I'm having trouble reading the Parra / NQ match. NQ exhausted a lot of energy in last week's win and now has to travel to Sydney, without LOD who made a number of try saving tackles. They key could be the former Eels backs in Tonga, Graham, Farrar and Williams. If they fire up similar to Burns against his old club last week, they may limit the opportunities for Keating to put Hayne or Burt into gaps. Just not certain that the Cowboys forwards will be up for it after last week's efforts. May stay away from that one.

So am I. It's just too hard to read if a team, that has some talent, is going to show for most of the match against a beatable team. I wouldn't be surprised if this one eeked over the over, but I don't care as I'll avoid those matches if I can.
That and there are enough other options to chose from this weekend.
And lastly, I really think a Storm (1-12) margin is a very good possibility.
Ironically, I think Manly could beat most clubs at home this week. But with the Storm and their circumstances, I think they improve this week, even though it will be tough to do so.
So, some decent $$ going on the Storm margin tonight from this boy...

I watched an Iowa/Michigan game on Satellite years ago at my parents house.
I ended up pissed off and pacing up and down the driveway after the game. I noticed someone had stuck a Michigan pennant under a beam in my parents driveway.
I quickly held a sacrificial burning of that disgusting rag flag.

Iowa's sucked ever since Frye retired.
Oh wait, they sucked back then too.

I have a copy of this historic game. Give me a mailing address and I'll send you a copy.
And in the name of friendship, I'll also include a care package of special eats. I call em nature's brownies.
Hayden Fry > cool.
Bo Schembechler> true jackass.
DON'T BE SAYING ANYTHING BAD ABOUT BO!!!!!!!!!!
Frye was a pimp (check out that watch he has on at 5:30 of that video clip...hahaha!), but Michigan beat him waaaaaay too many times. Iowa just never had the true talent. Frye did well with what he had to work with though.
Iowa's got nuthin' in football.
Even more nuthin' in basketball.

Born in Eastland, Texas, USA, Hayden Fry was a descendant from one of the Texas First Families. Fry's great-great-grandfather fought beside General Sam Houston in the Mexican War. Hayden's family moved to Odessa, Texas, when Fry was eight years old.
Fry was an American history teacher and assistant football coach at Odessa High School for a year in 1951 before joining the U.S. Marine Corps in 1952. During his time in Odessa, Fry met and befriended a young George H. W. Bush, who would become the 41st President of the United States.
And Fry had the visitors’ locker room painted pink. Fry, a psychology
major at Baylor, knew that pink is occasionally used in jails and
mental institutions to relax and pacify the residents, and Fry claimed
that it might have the same effect on the visiting team. Principally,
though, Fry hoped that the unusual color would distract and fluster the
opposing players and coaches.
