Taking it slow these opening rounds. The media is absolutely pulling apart the Eels right now because of their horrendous game vs the Eagles and also their 2H collapse vs Panthers in Round 1.
Team lists are out, checking them now. Round 3 I believe is always a round where the teams that are currently 0-2 need to really step up and give it their best shot because 0-3 does not look good at all. Long season but still, the NRL is a tough league to make ground if you fall behind early on.
Looking at this round, it looks very tough to cap. Dragons laying -6 on the road to the Titans is a bit much. Storm just -3.5 vs the Cowboys and Storm are a very good team off a loss but Morgan is back for the Cowboys. Panthers -4.5 vs the Dogs and this will be the Panthers first road game after coming from behind both games at home, where their home field advantage is very good.
Back later with some plays..

Who would have thought the Warriors would be 2-0 and Raiders 0-2?
Well I think that changes this weekend. The Warriors have had a lot of travel in the opening rounds. Started off in Perth, than the long 9-10 hour flight back home and now across again to a desperate Raiders team, at home on a nice Saturday afternoon. The Raiders have blown 2 chances the opening 2 weeks and I don't think they blow their chances this time against the Warriors.

yep, love the raiders...seen this too many times from the warriors,as soon as you build the slightest bit of trust in them they will let you down, set your clock to it...even as horrendous as they have been historically they will probably be starting to feel themselves a little after a meagre 2 wins which could be their downfall......they have an extremely difficult time winning in canberra as well...time for the raiders to stop shooting themselves in the foot when they get a lead.

Crazy to like the raiders here. Past trends literally being the only reason here that raiders are favourites. If anyone had actually watched a warriors game this year, they’re a completely diff team. RTS looks like a leader for the first time since being there. They are fit. Green has brought a lot to this team and this is the year Johnson will cement himself as one of the games premier half backs. Newcastle scored in every single attempt attacking the raiders line. I’m sorry but to suggest the raiders as fav here is aboustley ludacris

Mate I have watched both Warriors games this season so far and IMHO they were against weak teams in the Rabbits and also Titans. Titans have never been a good road team, so they have very little chance last week in NZ. Rabbits, well I don't have much hope for them either this season with their new coach. Agree with you, the NZ Warriors look sharper this season and they look very fit also but I just feel that their travel and the Raiders at 0-2, I feel as though the Raiders step up. I could be completely wrong but will take my chances on Canberra playing their 2nd straight home game.

Definitely agree. I do think they are a better team this year but to start 3-0 is a tough ask in this league. I don't think the Raiders are a good team at all this season and they will miss the 8 but I just like them in this situational spot.

Hey mate thanks for the insight really respect your opinion so far one of the few guys I look for when searching for thoughts but I’m still sticking with warriors here and is actually my biggest play of the week.

Biggest joke sport in the world. 6 penalties in 6 minutes, a sin bin for a late tackle, calling a forward pass that was clearly backwards when warriors on the attack, crotic try ref clearly has 0 view and sends it up as a try, now a knock on so the ref decides to blow an offside penalty.
