&#xD;&#xA;Yeah should be X, motivation is a powerful edge in the NRL. The only reason I didn&#x27;t back Canterbury today was the fact the value was completely sucked out of them via the enormous price movement that saw them start favourites by ko. &#xD;&#xA;Well and truly backs to the wall for them next week and Wests winning by 50 only sweetens the deal. &#xD;&#xA;The other &#x27;M&#x27; word thats important though is &#x27;Means&#x27;, ie does a team have the means to get it done. So pending key injuries ect.&#xD;&#xA;Next week looks like a bit of a crossroads game for the dogs in terms of their season. If they can&#x27;t muster something big, like they have done twice previously this season when they were backed into a corner (ie against the Roosters in round 4 when they were 0-3 &amp; against the Tigers a month ago when they&#x27;d strung together some poor performances) it could be time to stick a fork in them. &#xD;&#xA;Next week might just tell us whether thd dogs are prepared to dig in and fight for their season or whether they&#x27;ve succumbed to the easy option.
