This game is going to come down to the interpretation of the ruck and how far apart the ref is going to keep them.
If its a slow ruck, "skinny" 10 metres and plenty of niggle, I really think NSW can grind out a win with there MASSIVE pack, especially the bench.
If it is a clean ruck with a "big" 10 metres, then there is no way NSW can keep up with them.
Also another big factor is the dew factor. This will also aid NSW.
NSW can win in the first scenario as I could see them grind out a 12-10 type scoreline.
I cant see NSW scoring more than 3 tries absolute MAX...While Dugan is a big body in the back and can cart the ball from his own line, he simply isn't a ball player like a Slater, Hayne which is VITAL, considering NSW don't have very creative halves.
I would have gone with Moylan, he is turning into a very very fine ball player. Even Brett Stewart...Having a ball player at FB is crucial if Pearce and Hodko are your halves.
The Maroons players in the test looked very slow and average. Maybe age is starting to effect them? In saying that, there was no Slater and he makes a massive difference to any team he plays for.
