Sharks should beat Blues if for no other reason than they always do. But there are other reasons. For starters they are undoubtedly a better side than Blues. The Blues will have to be at their very best to be a chance and hope their home ground advantage carries the day, but remember that this game is not at Eden Park. The Sharks win against Crusaders was incredibly gutsy and shows what a committed side this is. Their defence is superb and they have the best coach in super rugby, so you would expect them to come in with the right game plan. For me they tick all the boxes.
Although I follow the Waratahs I don't do so blindly. Last weeks win, while convincing in the end, left much room for improvement and hopefully this will come tonight. Having said that, it is impossible to look at these two teams on paper and think that the Rebels will stay within a converted try. I know rugby is a team game but the Tahs are better, man on man, in virtually every position. The loss of Luke Burgess doesn't help Rebels chances either. I take my hat off to the Rebels for their performances this season and the Tahs are no champion team, but if they play somewhere near their capability they will be far to classy.
Sharks H2H @ $1.90
Waratahs -6.5 @ $1.90
Good punting all

What a tough, tough performance by Sharks. Unbelievable stats against them plus Steyn sinbinned and they still hung tight. No matter who you support, if you're an old style rugby man, you've got to love a side that toughs it out like they do.
