Terrible weekend. No good if you like the dogs as they went 1-6 SU (2-5 ATS) with the two ugliest of the bunch getting the lollies in the Titans and Sharks. Thought we were home n' ho on the dirty Warriors and that 'stellar' defense after they went into the sheds up 20-10 on the Bunnies and at worst would at the very least cover the number only for them to pick up a case of salmonella from the halftime oranges and completely shit all over the paddock en-route to 10 point defeat albeit on a very dubious decision for a try awarded by the video ref. Ended up going an electric 0-4 for the round, fan-fucking-tastic. On to tonight...
Sydney Roosters at Brisbane Broncos
The play...Roosters +4.5 (+105)
Liking the ML also. May throw down a couple of units at $2.90.
Cocks are on a roll and although many are waiting for them to go arse over kite as in previous times they had a tendency to do, I like them to add another win to the streak and take care of the Broncos. Think all the talent they possess has finally come together and from here on in this flock of box are going to be a tough beat. Had this line personally capped at +2.5 so will gladly take the lower line offered of +4.5 at plus money in a game where in my opinion the dog has more than a 50% chance of winning straight up. Obviously the line has a distinctive odour about it but will take my chances...

been looking out my office window on and off this afternoon and thinking about you Rostos (what a worrying admission that is ! ) because it is extremely grey and looks for all money like its about to rain but as yet it hasn't.
Most of the cloud is fairly high too so it might just be one of those overcast days where the rain threatens but doesn't eventuate.
Will update closer to kick off.

Didn't factor it in at all when placing my wager, thought they were playing. Could live with the absence of Myles, Pearce has me slightly concerned. Carney should take a step up though. May make another play on the Roosters when the line adjusts for the injuries at my book. What are we seeing +7.5 - 8 ???.
Won't be touching the Broncos in any form, smell a bit of doggy reversion tonight after the faves dominated the weekend plus the fact that the books have taken a shitload of Bronco money...

emkee, very sharp move to stay away from this match. It was a trap all along with the Roosters +180 before the info on Myles and Pearce being out. Or +4- for that matter was a joke as well with how well the Roosters have been playing and scoring with the high powered multiple threat attack. This should have been a Pk game fro the start.
What will happen is close to what happens even with Pearce and Myles playing. Brisbane will attack the ends and score early and often while their jeckyl and hyde defense with become a brick wall and keep the Roosters to 12 pts or less.
Good luck to everyone.

Not sure what too make of this one but a wins a win. Glad I didn't have to sweat out a ML play, although the points looked to be in jeopardy aswell. Glad the Chooks won in the end. Positive end to a brutal round.
See y'all next week fellas...
