Storm, Manly, Broncos and Dragons seem to have the top 4 locked up.
Cowboys could be a bit vulnerable, but have a healthy PD (64). They only play one game against a team in front of them (Brisbane), and will get JT back in a couple of weeks. Newcastle could have put pressure on them for 5th spot last week, but dropped their fucking lollies.
I don't think the Sharks, Rabbits or Dogs can make it.
So that leaves Warriors, Tigers, Knights and Panthers to fight over the last three spots in the eight.
Warriors have a reasonable run home, but not easy by any stretch. Three of their final 7 are against teams currently in front of them and four of their remaining games are away from Mt Smart. They have the Rabbits (A), Canberra (H), Brisbane (A), Knights (H), Penrith (A), Dragons (A) and Cowboys (H). There's 4 or 5 games there that they could lose.
Tigers get a fair run home. Roosters (H), Manly (A), Dragons (H), Penrith (A), Parramatta (H), Titans (H) and Shraks (A). Only two games against teams in front of them. They are level on 20 points with Newcastle (Newcastle with todays game in hand) and have a marginally better PD.
Newcastle have a fair run home as well. After Manly today they have Sharks (A), Titans (H), Canberra (H), Warriors (A), Brisbane (H), Dogs (A) and Rabbits (H). Four winnable games at home and the Dogs away. Like the Tigers, they only have two games against teams in front of them, so their fate is in their own hands.
Penrith have by far the toughest run home. They play Manly (H), Cowboys (A), Melbourne (A), Tigers (H), Warriors (H), Canberra (A) and Dragons (A). Good luck with that.
Newcastle, Warriors and Tigers it is then. Battle on for 6th spot, as there's not too much point finishing 7th or 8th IMO.
