Usain bolts in for relay
The fastest man in the world, Usain Bolt, arrived in Australia on Monday for a whirlwind promotional tour, which includes taking place in the Gatorade Bolt.
"I'm very excited to be in Australia. It was a long trip so I'm pretty tired," Bolt said upon his arrival in Sydney.
Bolt will run the anchor leg for a relay team in the Gatorade celebrity 4 x 100m event. Seven other celebrities and 24 members of the public will have a rare opportunity to run on the same track as the world's fastest man.
The Gatorade Bolt will seek to find the fastest football player in Australia and a $20,000 first prize is up for grabs to settle the score between the codes.
Flyers such as Central Coast Mariners' Matt Lewis, Carlton's Kane Johnson, Wallaby Lachie Turner and NRL stars Greg Inglis, Josh Morris and the man nicknamed 'the Hayne Train', Jarryd Hayne.
Looks like his people were smart enough to keep him off the same track as Chris Johnson as it wouldn't look good only winning a 50 by a half step....or two.
Johnson-Bolt race unlikely
The Tennessee Titans running back said Monday as he cleaned out his locker that he recently learned that a potential race against the Jamaican Olympian isn't going to happen -- at least, not at a distance less than 100 meters, where Bolt holds the world record.
"We got word two days ago. He don't want to do it. He only wants to run the 100, he don't want to run the 50," Johnson said. "He said the only way he'll do it is if he runs the 100."
