Be very wary about backing Tahs against good sides but open the wallet against bad sides. This is a classic match-up for the NSW team. Hooper will ensure plenty of ball and the backs will run riot on a Sydney afternoon where the weather is perfect for rugby. Look also for a hugely talented bench to add impact late in the game.

Just back from the game after a couple of beers and a feed at the pub. Most unimpressive in my opinion but up against the mugs were able to provide the cash. Scoring through poor options doesn't justify the choice made. Bernie's grubber from 5 or 6 metres out was an extraordinary option although perfectly executed. Likewise choosing to bump off on a straight 2 on 1 and then having the try line open up for you was dare I say "lucky". On a rare occasion that Izzie didn't score he nevertheless impressed again. He is always putting himself in try scoring positions and that take of the high ball where he hit the ground running was the effort of a supreme athlete.
Haven't looked at the draw coming up but can't see myself running to slap my hard earned on the Tahs.
