Good tips this week... Got lucky on a few last week relative to how unpredictable the other games were. Risking a lot this week, pretty confident with a few.
Rabbits -4.5 (1 unit)
Multi: Sharks, Knights, Roosters ML (1 unit)
Eels -2.5 (2 units)
Warriors ML (2 units)
Rabbits vs Dragons:
Hate betting against my team... but Dragons were terrible last week. For a team that has always been good defending, the Dragons couldnt defend and failed to hold onto the ball all game. However, it should be noted that Cowboys have one of the best forward packs in the league and Morgan was predictably good. Dragons without Frizel, De Belin and a weird dynamic with Hunt/Widdop/Norman which is still working out are not going to beat a rampant Rabbits, even at Kogorah. Rabbits win comfortably.
Sharks/Knights/Roosters ML:
Sharks lost to a very good Knights team last week and will look to bounce back at Shark Park against an even worse Titans team missing their playmaker. Knights had a huge game last week and will look to repeat at home again against a struggling Penrith side. This is not the game for Penrith to bounce back. Manly were absolutely terrible and predictably so. The loss of tommy turbo is huge and I have said now for 2 years that DCE is massively overrated. Roosters bounce back and quite comfortably aswell.
Eels vs Bulldogs
Not quite sure why the line isnt bigger with this game. Eels won comfortably against a poor performing Penrith side. The dogs on the other hand were absolutely terrible and spirits must have been even worse after having 40 points put on them in a season opener. I like the Eels new young half pairings. Look for the eels to put on a fair few points against a terrible team.
Tigers vs Warriors
Despite their win, Tigers played very disappointing against a team that was missing most of their playmakers and also at home. As predictable, this wont be like last years opening 8 games with the Tigers. They looked flat and struggled offensively. Warriors are undeserving of underdogs in this matchup. The game will be played at Campbelltown so home advantage will not play a roll here. As I stated last week, Warriors will not feel the loss of shaun johnson. Warriors win comfortably.
