There has been alot of talk about the wrestle, non policing of the 10 metres, slowness of the play the ball / game etc etc.
I have no doubt the refs are going to be on it this week, trying to increase the speed of the play the ball, keeping the teams apart etc etc..
This SHOULD lead to faster play the balls, teams forced to stay back 10 metres, and a shit load of penalties, this increase in tempo SHOULD lead to more points....
I have noticed the overs and unders arent out yet 2 days before the game, are the books waiting for something?

Agreed, especially after all the bad press about melbourne wresting you could expect more penalties in that game. Across the board though I would all expect more penalties called . Still not prepared to take an over in the St George game.

Looks like the books havent adjusted the totals....As i said above, i expected the Roosters Drags game to be anywhere between 34 to 36 and it is actually 34....Interesting considering.
I know the below doesnt automatically lead to points and a higher scoring game BUT, one would think the chances as compared to before will be higher that more points will be scored...
"The game's whistleblowers have been at the heart of discussion for the past week with coaches and former players up in arms over the wrestling and illegal tactics plaguing the NRL. One of the biggest concerns is the lack of policing of the 10 metre rule - which prompted referees boss Bill Harrigan to put the men in charge on notice. Harrigan said he will sack any of his men who don't crack down on offside defenders. Expect penalty counts to rise over the next fortnight and the 10m to look closer to 12m."
