Alaves/Real Valladolid - Leaning Alaves to take all the pts here but felt the "safer" option was to take the first half over 1 at better odds (almost even). Alaves seemed to be on track to be the Girona of this season but its' momentum has halted after 3 tough games including 2 against Real and Barca. After 2 scoreless games, see Alaves coming out aggressive against a poor Vallladolid side who'll most likely be in another relegation battle. Of note, Alaves matches have seen a goal in the 1H of every game except 1, and think both teams will see this as a game from which they can get some result. Would lean Alaves 1H ML/spread and btts but no need to blow the load on this match w/ a weekend full of matches coming up.
Beerschot/Anderlecht - Beerschot = automatic fade + goals. 10 matches into the league and while the season has a long way to go, sitting there w/ 2 pts on -19 GD doesn't bode well for its' survival chances. 8/10 matches have featured a 1H goal in its' matches and too much class between these two to not think that Anderlecht, who played a couple great matches heading into international break, will be leading at the half. Hoping to be able to get a 1H runner in here live.
