Stay safe! My Tampa house and two cars got totaled from Helene (South Tampa). Been staying at a house we own in Seminole but evacuated to Kissimmee this morning to get further away.

 Was wondering what your plan was. Tampa is going to be decimated. Sorry to hear about that. I went to school at UT and used to live near Bashore / S. Howard. Assuming that is gone.

Was are on 3rd floor apartment in Fort Myers, so staying

 I lived on Esparanza near Bayshore when Frances hit.  Day before all the water got sucked out of the bay. People were walking across mud (muck) directly to downtown Tampa. Next day with wind, 7ft waves crashing over the one way signs, people jetskiing down Bayshore.  That was a cat2 I think. 

Daytona Beach now.

 Yup, I remember. People were taking the lawn chairs and sitting in the middle of Tampa Bay. All before it got all thrown back on land. Crazy storms up there. Glad you are now across. We just had 2 tornados less than a mile from us. 

I know the area. I was less than a mile up bashore from there. Glad I'm gone
