1. Eyupspor/Fenerbahce - Wouldn’t chalk this as a straight forward Fenerbahce win. A late stoppage time penalty in Istanbul unfortunately prevented the hosts from a result against Besiktas before going to Istanbul again and picking up a huge point against the current leaders. In between those two trips, an impressive point picked up in Basaksehir, not an easy place to play. Safe to say that Eyupspor gets up for these games against the top teams as 8 out of it’s’ 24 goals this season have come against the current top 7 sides, including a recent 3-0 drubbing of fellow early surprises in Samsunspor. With that said, expecting goals here as Eyupspor probably knows it won’t pick up any points without at least netting once. Will jump on the live 1H over 1/0.75 and the whole game over 2.5/2.75 if the opportunity allows.
2. Bayern Munich/Leipzig - Books are expecting a drubbing here with the spread at -2 and the total sitting at 3.5/4. Leipzig is missing some stalwarts in Lukeba, Simmons, and Poulsen, but that’s been the case since the end of November for Lukeba and the end of October for Simmons so it’s not like these absences are recent news. Plus Bayern’s missing vital pieces of its’ own including Kane, Gnabry, and Davis, and everyone saw the BS it put up against Mainz last week. Take a look at the history between the two and see how many times Bayern covered a -2 spread. Yea I don’t get it, especially when I don’t rate this Bayern side as high as they’ve been in recent years now without Kane against a side that it hasn’t dominated historically and still features Sesko and Openda up front. I usually shy from ML/spreads when I can get similar odds on totals but took the +2 on Leipzig at -118. If it loses, so be it.
3. Verona/AC Milan - All but 4 of Verona’s games this season featured 1H goals including every single home game except the Serie A opener. Every single Verona home game has featured 3+ goals. Against Napoli, Juventus, Lazio, Atalanta, Fiorentina, and Inter, all matches featured 3+ goals including 6-1 and 5-0 drubbings by Atalanta and Inter. I love the pregame 1H over here despite the juice at -150, especially with Milan coming off a goalless draw, as well as the whole game over 2.75 at -117. Would normally wait for better odds live but feel like this has a chance of seeing an opener early on. Hopefully will get a chance to hit the 1H over 0.75
Good luck!
