1. PAOK/Lamia 1H over 1 (will take live): Must’ve been around 2015-16 when PAOK came on my radar in the Europa League going toe-to-toe w/ Dortmund and Krasnodar and barely missing out on knockout stages. Since then, it’s been perennially involved in European competition, more than holding its’ own against second and third tier European clubs, even making a run to the quarterfinals of the Conference League in the 21/22 season. It’s not surprising to see it completed the double over Frankfurt last week. It reminds me of Brighton in how it does business, always seeming to put out a competitive product on the field that can score goals. In Greece, it’s PAOK, AEK, Olympiacos, and Panathinaikos vs the rest. Fully expect PAOK to find the goal in the 1H at home.
2. Midtjylland/Viborg 1H over (will take live): Also started noticing Midtjylland in European competition maybe 3-4 seasons back. Think it went through a transition period the last couple seasons but seems like it’s found its’ offensive mojo this season. In 10 out of its’ last 11 games, Midtjylland has scored 2+ goals including 4 twice in its’ last 3 games. Last two meetings between these two teams featured no 1H goals. Think that trend ends.
3 and 4. Sporting CP/Gil Vicente 1H over 1 (will take live), Sporting CP 1H over 1.5 (+155): As I mentioned before, betting on Sporting in the 1H can be a headache. For all the talent they have on the frontline (and it’s far better than they had last year due to Gyökeres), it sometimes screws around in the 1H before turning it on in the 2H a la Inter. While it’s possible that happens here, Sporting’s last 2 home games against Gil Vicente ended 2-0 and 2-1 at halftime. Last time they met, the match ended in a goalless draw. Let’s hope Sporting turns it on to its full capability in the 1H.

Not a fan of taking this much action on a Monday, but really like some of the opportunities here. Hopefully push at worst in all these cases.
5. AEK/Aris Thessaloniki 1H over 1 (will take live): Similar to the PAOK play this morning, it’s PAOK, AEK, Olympiacos, and Panathinaikos vs the rest. AEK's going to be in a foul mood after the result it had against Brighton where it deserved a result. AEK to score in the 1H is -204 so books expect it to score. More numbers? The last 7 out of 8 meetings between the two teams have gone over 2.5 w/ a goal in the 1H in 7 out of 8. The one meeting that was scoreless at the half? Ended w/ 5 goals in the 2H. You get my drift. And as I'm typing this up, PAOK scores its' second goal to win the over. I'm not kidding, target this league.
6 and 7. Villareal B/Eibar 1H over 1 (-115), Villareal B 1H over 0.5 (+138): Villareal B opened up the season scoring in 11 out of its' first 13 games including in the 1H of its' first 5 home games. Since then? 1 goal in 6 games including being blanked out at home twice. No major injuries/suspensions, and it's not like the opportunities haven't been there. Maybe the remedy is Eibar coming into town whose games have seen an uptick in offense from both sides. Banking on Villareal to find its' goalscoring form again, and if not, hoping Eibar, who leads LaLiga 2 w/ 31 goals, to help w/ the 1H total.

Mediocre. Really surprised to see AEK didn't net 1 in the 1H and only got 1 the entire game, and Villareal B's inability to put chances away continues. Hope to be better tomorrow.
