Boateng was the key missing ingredient during the past few months. He was back in training a week ago and played on Saturday. Lahm was rested, as well as Alaba, so the defense is as sound as it has been in months. Absent from the 1st leg, were both Ribery and Mueller until late substitutions. Pep chose to start a very small, but skilled ball handling type of line up in Madrid. The long grass that appeared to slow the ball movement, certainly favored Atletico Madrid. I think all of these factors are worth noting prior to jumping on board of the Atletico train. I understand that the line is heavily in favor of Bayern winning, and I can see why people are enticed by the long odds of Atletico, their defensive numbers are outstanding.

Some interesting stats. The " Form guide " can be misleading though. Sometimes, key players are injured, teams rest many players due to other key games like Ch. League or Cup games, and weigh the need and necessities accordingly. i.e. Atl. Madrid are in a 3 way title chase in La Liga, Bayern need only a tie to clinch with 2 to go. The lead was 7pts over 2nd place Dortmund for a while now. Atletico Madrid have to win to have any chance against Real and Barca.

Good informative read this thread.
This Spanish side is one of the, if not the, toughest groups to break down in Europa and with a 1-0 lead already in their pockets heading into Allianz Arena in Munich tonight things will not be easy for the Germans. Fans are furious of their latest performance -NON PERFECTO. Hmm appears its getting tight around the collar in Deutschelandia and it will reflect in the team today and for all invested right down to the groundskeepers.. "Hey fix that missing dibbet!"
Atlético have six successive clean sheets before this game and have not conceded in more than ten hours of football, so they will do their usual scheme of sit tight and close down the opposition. We likely won't see a free flowing game and, as a result, We might see Atlético very well getting something tonight.
Looking at two plays going to choose 1
1. Under 2.5 -163 (JUICY LUCY) but likely a winner
2. Atlético/Draw Double Chance +140
