Hey kickers ... long time soccer fanatic who hails from Liverpool. Thought I'd get in on the fun with my first pick on the soccer forum:
Everton +200: Think the Blues get it done in the upset here, though I will qualify this by saying I am a diehard Evertonian. After the diabolical and corrupt 10-point deduction, Everton is determined to win one in front of the loyal and boisterous home fans. Striker Calvert-Lewin is fit to return and should be a real problem for a patchwork Newcastle defence. Winger Anthony Gordon returns to Goodison after a testy parting of ways and I think he will be in for a rough night against a stout and physical back four, not to mention getting plenty of stick from the home fans. Newcastle dealing with the issue now of replacing injured starting goalkeeper Mark Pope and Everton is going to trouble his replacement with a lot of size and strength throughout the lineup on crosses and set pieces. Don't think there is going to be a lot of goals in this one, projecting a 1-0 or 2-1 type win for the home team.
