Necaxa - Santos Laguna

Santos don't lose at home often, currently on a 17-game unbeaten streak on home turf and six of last eight here have seen both teams score. Good recipe for the over as Necaxa have been leaking goals as of late. Necaxa also haven't drawn a match on the road in nearly a year. I would say Santos is a no-brainer here, but my gut tells me differently. There are no fans at these games, so the home factor sort of takes a blow, plus Necaxa has won three of the last four matches against these guys. Let's go back to the no draws on the road for a second. If you look deeper into the history of these two, there's been draws GALORE in the past. There's a stretch of matches, panning from 2003 until 2008 where they drew EVERY GAME 1-1 or 2-2 (7 straight to be exact). Santos opened up as -130 favorites, it's now up to -160 at most books. I'm fading the consensus here. Like the over, like BTTS, and taking a shot on Necaxa +.75.

Nice call on Santos. This is a derby game in case anyone doesn't know. There are no spectators and both squads play in the same stadium. Cruz Azul the better team in my opinion but Club America always shows up for this one. Tough call to be honest.

Cruz on almost 10 days of rest. Haven't lost a match since January 17th. If they win this game they are atop the standings. Better form than Club America. F IT. I'm firing.
