"A statement on the Cameroon Football Federation's (FECAFOOT) official Facebook page said the body's Ethics Committee would lead the investigation.
It followed a report in Germany which claimed a Singaporean match-fixer had accurately predicted the scoreline before Cameroon's 4-0 thrashing by Croatia in Group A on June 18.
The report said the match-fixer had also predicted that a Cameroon player would be sent off in the first half."

1) Match fixing--anyone see their commercial trying to address that? It's out there, big time.
2) Referring--Euro teams are getting the benefit of doubts in any offsides, tackling in the box, and they turn the other way when Euro teams bear hug the opposition on set plays...and so on...This stems from in house Euro-centrism with the thousands of FIFA managers who construct match ups, venues, scheduling, and communicate with national teams.
3) Racism (see above #2); fans in Eastern Europe especially are openly racist.
4) Rules about offsides and penalties need to be under television review by a central committee. One referee's flawed decision can devastate millions of fans and unfairly so. I think this is also very dangerous to infuriate the masses.

FIFA now has a real headache.

If only you knew what I know. Lets just say match fixing and spot fixing is rampant at this world cup. Sad part is 99% of it will go unreported. And even closer to 100% will go unprosecuted.
The massive Illegal and underground Asian syndicates and bookmakers. Are largely responsible.

Ok... I'm not claiming to doubt you... but why the secrecy? If you know something, then spill the beans! Otherwise, why even bother to post?
Tell us what you know... otherwise, you don't know garbage!

A must read book : "THE FIX." Author: Declan Hill.
This author actually met the asian betting syndicates and how they operate. Even has documented proof about which games were fixed in the 2010 World Cup and how we met players of Ghanas national team in last years World Cup to talk about their match fixing.
Just recently this author exposed match fixing in the local Canadian Professional Soccer League which led to the Canadian Soccer Assosciation sanctioning and cutting itself from the league.

Are any of the Asian syndicate odds posted anywhere online? You'd figure that odds for 4-0 and red card 1H for the Cameroon/Croatia match would drop considerably because there should be disproportionate betting on it.

Thank you DJ..........Glad to see someone else sees the insanity that this guy spews.
Aw, does that make you feel powerful to join sides, and pretend you have support of some kind? Little men resort to that instead of debate on points logically.

I don't know why anyone would want to fix a World Cup game when at the same time there are dozens of European pre-season friendlies happening which are usually played in a training facility way out of sight. Not actually sure how the online bookmakers actually pick up all these games and there results live.
Saw one the other day actually. Red Bulls Salzberg vs Anzhi. Odds on these games should be fairly even but Red Bulls were very strong favorites before kick off. After half time, Anzhi get a penalty and score. Then Red Bulls come back and score two goals in the 89th and 90th to win.

Here in England, The FA have just introduced a no betting on any football rule for all players that play from the lowest semi-pro league to the EPL.
Not sure how that will help anything because it's not like the corrupt players are making the bets themselves anyway. Majority of low semi-pro players who play part time and make a couple of hundred $$$ a week aren't happy they aren't allowed to place a bet on Manchester United for example.

Yeah, That won't curb the match fixing ....players of lower tiers make the $$ by accepting payoffs to get a red card, let a soft goal in, etc. imagine getting multiples of your salary to do something at a specific time in a game..
