As of now clijsters has the first set wrapped up, hopefully she keeps the intensity...
I got Federer when he opened at -600 vs Berdych.. it is currently at -900, I do not see him losing to Berdych.. I don't see him losing to anyone with the exception of Nadal. Just sucks I haveto wait until wednesday, but there is a reason I put him in my parlays
Like the other tennis matches, Serena Williams should not have a problem beating Li... if she does, then i guess im the donkey for adding her in the parlay!
***I had to use heavy tennis favorites in order to put $5,000 on spain and paraguay** the book I am currently using has low limits on the world cup "to qualify" odds but they have a $5,000 parlay limit. So i found a loophole where instead of the limit being spain to qualify, max "to win $500," the book let me put it in a parlay (much to my surprise)** just an explanation to why the tennis plays are in there...
AS FOR THE SOCCER WRITEUP'S...
I am a HUGE portugal fan. I really like Ronaldo. I love how they play. Seeing as to how good Brazil looked vs Chile, a 0-0 draw is pretty impressive. Unfortunately I just think Spain wins a close tight match. As you see I took Spain to QUALIFY and pk (tie is a push); I can see this going the distance. Draw might be a solid play for someone that isn't putting too much $$ on the game. Spain just has so many more weapons offensively then portugal. They should find a way to score between the 30-60th minutes and hold on. Villa, Torres, Iniesta, Xavi... They are so deep. It kills me to bet against Portugal but I think Spain will frustrate Ronaldo and take him out of the game, and I am not confident that Portugal can get much offense generated without Ronaldo being a large part of their runs/chances.

Japan scares me. If i could do anything with these parlays, i would not have touched this game. I just think as well as Japan has played, with wins against Denmark and Cameroon, i feellike they just can't be rated because of the quality of the teams in their group. The Netherlands, a team that is very solid beat Japan. In all fairness, Paraguay is not Holland by any stretch and I believe both Japan and Holland were really only playing for the top seed in their group. Some may think that is alot to play for, others can argue that Japan was content with advancing to the knockout stages. It is really hard to judge Japan based on the Holland game. Paraguay hasn't scored many goals but their defense is very solid in the back, and much like chile, they make their runs off of strong defensive stops and turnovers made by the opposition. Once again, this one will be tight the whole way. Same reason I took "to qualify" "pk" and U2.5.. I think this is a 1-0 game maybe 2-0 if someone gets a late goal because the team a goal down pushes foward and is weak in the back... In any case. This should be some great matches today. Good Luck to ALL!
