Was havin a chat with a few mates and we got talking about EURO 2012. Now I'm a Londoner not just in the Premier League but you support the boys ya watch all year yeah, for me it's the greatest league in the world, the English Premier League. On to EURO 2012!
England is in Group D which also consists of - Ukraine, Sweden France, England. If you ask me the main focus of our group is the England v. France fixture, and it comes as the 1st match too. A win would obviously be best but I'm not sure it's in the cards with the amount of firepower the frenchies are bringing to the tournament. England ends their group D play against Ukraine with Sweden in the middle.
Ukraine are the hosts and the home pitch advantage will be there, but in the end I'm fully confident that England will outclass Ukraine for all 3 points. Might go 2-0 or maybe even 2-1 but 3 points are coming to England and IMO in rather melodramatic fashion....
Sweden though is really going to test our defence, mostly in the midfield. Ibrahimovic, Toivonen, Bajrami, Elm and Larsson will play mostly centre focused, which will really put pressure on Milner, Lescott and John Terry. Keep the ball clear of the 6 and stay aware on long balls swung in and we should be all right. Sweden will really be a test though. France still an enigma for me at the moment, LOADED with talent but what Frenchie team will we see???
If France have their heads right it's surely to be a real test - Benzema, Valbuena, Giroud and that's just the forwards! Ribery, Nasri, Ben Arfa, Cabaye, goodness me Malouda (aged), Menez. Solid defence too - Evra, Clichy, Rami, Koscielny, Mexes and a brick wall in goal Hugo Lloris...
Then again ya look at the English side and it's just as top quality as well...Doesn't get any better than Joe Hart between the posts, he should have been the man in South Africa. Then it's our defence - Ashley Cole, Leighton Baines, Phil Jones if we doneed him, Lescott, Terry, Cahill, one things certain if we do get beat IT WON'T BE IN THE AIR! Glen Johnson ehhh take him or leave him, I'd have fancied Micah a bit more though that's all. 
On to the midfield - Goodness me Gerrard, Lampard (both aging but both legends) Ashley Young in top form, Milner always solid in the back of midfield, Scotty Parker hands down THE best choreographer/orchestrater in all of football. Cannot say enough about Scotty and I expect him to really shine this EURO.
Once again another head scratcher Stewart(0 goals/assists) Downing. For me it's got to be Aaron Lennon or Grant Holt maybe even Gabby...probably a few others have a shout. Up top you cannot argue with Theo's pace and Oxlade is just a bloody up and coming football phenom! Defoe?? Alright fine if you must.
Danny Welbeck??? This one I'm not too keen on because we haven't seen it it from him on the international stage yet. Not to say we won't but we just haven't yet. He should work well with Rooney though....eventually. Andy Carroll is completely unnecessary, complete rubbish season at liverpool, and that's when he got on the pitch! Disappointing too because it takes spots away from other worthy candidates.
1-1 would be a goodish result I think against France. Must take all 3 points from Ukraine, and must get a result from Sweden.

No way no how, they do not defend well enough, end of story. They do have a fluent almost pragmatic attack at times, when they are able to keep chunks of possession but never ever are able to track back and defend properly. 
Hosts of EURO 2012 or not, Ukraine probably sees no more than 2 points this tournament.
