Euro plays

I converse in P's thread, but since it's the Euros I figured I would make my own and post my plays and W/L record

There is an old saying, fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.  The past is a good teacher of the future.  One thing I know, based on my experience, LOSING experience, in the past is when dealing with these tournaments, be it Euros, Copa America or Wold Cup, its such a short tournament that the powerhouses (Engand, Portugal, Belgium, Spain, Italy, etc.) like to take things easy in the group stage.  Last world cup, I took a beating when Saudi Arabia beat Argentina in the group stage, then Argentina went on to win it all.  So, with that in mind, most of my plays will be DOGS during the first two games of each group stage.  You normally don't see blowouts in these things.  Also, UNDERS will be better than OVERS.  Alot of teams will score, sit back and just kill the clock.

Ok, enough rambling.  1st play is

Scotland +2 (-174)

I need Germany to win by 3 to beat me.  Can't see it.  I see maybe a 1 goal Germany win at most.  Probably low scoring but prefer taking Scotland, as we have seen that Germany's defence can be shaky

As you say the Euro's not a tournament for over bettors   It ain't Mobland 2 for sure 

even though there will be value and opportunity as the group stages progress for a few overs here and there 

Asian lines on the underdogs probably a good strategy as well 

 for the tourney 

1: first Half Double Chance Hungry or Draw

2: Double Chance for the game Hungry or Switzerland and over 1,5 goals

First favorite im playing today.  Why? It's simple.  This is a must win game for Italy.  With Spain and Croatia on deck they need the 3 points here to have a shot at advancing.

I think Italy is going to disappoint and won't make it out of the table, but I think they come out hot today as well

Pure value play here.  I don't think Albania will score, thinking a 2/0 Italy win .  If they only win 1/0 I'm covered

Disastrous start to the Euros for me.  Also lost today with England and Over 2.5  but I didn't post it so not included in record.

Monday play #1

Ukraine ML and Romania win and under 2.5

Romania has a tough time scoring and Ukraine has a very solid defense.  Add to the fact I think UEFA wants Ukraine to be the feel good story with the situation with the war and I expect to Ukraine get all the majority of the calls.  Should see a Ukraine win here

Gonna be tough for Ukraine ml AND romania to win.
