Wow, what a game between Hungary and Belgium! I took a pretty big hit, so my units aren't up massively at this point, but overall good day yesterday with Portugal. Todays' games are the ones that matter and two matchups with meaning kick off with the hosts Germany looking to lock up top position in the group as they face Switzerland. If they were to LOSE, that would mean the Swiss would top the group which wouldn't be unfair considering how well they have played. But I think the Germans are going to want to impress in front of the home fans against a Swiss side they have dominated H2H (W 36, D 8, L 9). I can't see how that stops here either given Switzerland’s last five games at the Euros have seen both teams score. That means the Germans get at least 1 and the odds are begging us to take the under but I see the Germans netting at least 2 tonight as they have in most the games they have played against the Swiss.
GERMANY -1 (-101)
GERMANY (-180)
GERMANY TEAM TOTAL OVER 1.5 (-130)
I've watched most this tournament and think Germany and Spain are the best sides. No reason for me to overthink things I think this sees at least 2 goals I'm just not sure about the third. The Swiss have some slight injury concerns and the Germans are pretty healthy though do have a few defenders already on yellow cards. So that might affect the lineup and set up in the back.
As for the second game, I really think Hungary is disappointed with their Euro showing after being a popular dark horse play. The Scots on the other hand rebounded to get a point against a strong Swiss side giving them hopes of making it through to the next round with a win here. IN short, both teams need to win. But neither is really strong at the front and with the Scottish having lost a key player and defender in Kieran Tierney, I think they are exposed in the back. But Hungary have not shown they can score. So what will give? I like Scotland here to get at least a goal in what has been a painful affair for Hungary. They might come out determined, but if Scotland score first, Hungary will deflate very quick.
SCOTLAND (PK-103)
SCOTLAND OVER 1.5 GOALS (+124)
That's a handful of plays but I strongly support them. Hoping everyone has had a great weekend. As always, tail or fade, good luck to all...
