The biggest parlay of my life and all Germany had to do was WIN.
I hope Algeria wins now and knocks them out. Another classic example of a power team completely taking for granted a far inferior side. I hope one, just once, the power team gets knocked off.

I got lucky and chased Germany to win in ET at +100. Placed the bet literally 20 seconds before they kicked off the ET. 90 seconds later, I was elated.

I can understand your frustration about the German team and I too was frustrated watching the game, both because I lost money and was disappointed with the overall performance.
But we shouldn't forget that all teams that make it this far can play football and no opponent is an easy one. Especially teams like Algeria live of their fighting spirit and their discipline, and scoring against such teams is no easy task. In the knockout stage, favorites can't afford to concede first so of course they can't play as aggressive as they could in group stage.
After all, I can't recall one favorite so far who had an easy walk through. Brazil, Netherlands, France, Germany - they all had to give 110% and looked elimination right in the eye.
