Tough one to cap. United have been playing well and Newcastle just lost to Liverpool pretty convincingly. I'm staying away though; tough to want to lay juice away from home at a tough place to play. Price seems pretty fair.

I&#x27;m going with ManU tomorrow.  They need it to keep pace with City who won.  Rooney, Giggs and Ferdinand should be starting.

Yeah, I like the Manchester United ML. As Trance was saying, they need to keep up with City who just won today.

I do not think that Manchester will give nor afford another slip up against like they had against Blackburn as they want to keep up with City and not let them pull ahead.

Here are some interesting facts regarding this match that favor Manchester United:

-Newcastle United has only won 2 of their last 13 HOME matches against Manchester United.

- Manchester United hasn't lost their opening game of a calendar year since 1996.

- And finally, Wayne Rooney has scored a total of 6 goals in 6 away appearances whenever he plays at Newcastle.

That being said, I believe that Manchester will play a hard match, but will come out with the 3 points. Before the Blackburn match, they have been doing really well, and I don't think that they will allow another slip up.

I&#x27;m gonna be all over Manchester Utd -1. Too much juice to play on the 1X2 but at a slight dog at -1 I really like the Devils. Newcastle has been playing decent football but injuries are really starting to take their toll for Alan Pardew&#x27;s side. Demba Ba is a key in this match, if the United defence can keep him away from the 6 yd box and not give up any clear strikes then this match shouldn&#x27;t even be in doubt IMO.

I like it over. It doesn&#x27;t matter who&#x27;s in goal for Manchester United because they both stink. Good lineup for both teams. Alex Ferguson looks like he&#x27;s trying to win a game today instead of playing for a draw. Maybe that&#x27;s his New Year&#x27;s resolution. Newcastle will find a lot more holes in this swiss cheese defense than they did against Liverpool. I think it&#x27;s a 2-1 game either way.

Well we haven&#x27;t been in 2012 long but this is the biggest play of the new year for me here. It even went down to - .5, -1!I hammered it. I mean HAMMERED IT. Manchester United is a better side, they&#x27;ve got some issues defensively particularly in the CDM slot but up front you cannot argue with Rooney, Nani, Valencia, Giggs and maybe even Dimitar today. How is Newcastle going to score goals other than Demba Ba? Big fan of Demba but he is just outmatched today. Also Lindegaard is between the sticks today for the Devils. Even better news! I would take Anders Lindegaard over David De Gea anyday. 5 count em 5 clean sheets for Lindegaard so far in the campaign. I couldn&#x27;t believe my eyes when I refreshed and saw the line went from -1 to -.5,-1. I hit it hard. And then I hit it again when I got back up to the station after a 10 minute contemplation on the road.Man Utd wins this match today boys, after all they&#x27;ve got to stay level with City on points after the win yesterday
