At first glance, this line looks suspicious for an Arsenal
side that has had an up & down filled season resembling a roller coaster. Again, (like most years) Arsene Wenger’s continuity
is in question and again, their fans seem to have had “too much this time.” Usually I don’t find it smart to back a team
with internal issues like that to cover a spread of over 2 goals, but this is
not the case today. Arsenal has had 4.5
days to recover physically from the trashing provided by BM last Wednesday in
UCL and they don’t have another match scheduled until March 4th in
Anfield vs Liverpool.
You can bet your behinds that Wenger is looking for a
trashing of their own on this 5th round of the FA Cup to head into
Anfield with whatever momentum they can muster.
They most certainly will not feature the top team, but I expect a mix of
veterans with youth, since they’ll have more than enough time to recover before
their next match.
On the other hand, you’ve got Sutton United. For those who don’t follow English football
that much, you may be thinking, “who?”
That’s right… This is a team in the 5th level of English
leagues where they’re currently ranked 17th out of 24 teams. They’ve allowed 41 goals this season and only
scored 32 against Level 5 teams. Let’s
not kid ourselves into thinking that Arsenal doesn’t have the tools or
motivation to destroy them. It feels
that Wenger side’s results in the FA Cup have actually saved his job a couple
times already and with no other silverware really in play for them, I expect
them to shift their attention to the FA Cup and make a run for it.
This game should be over by half time. Arsenal 5-1 Sutton United.
Good Luck Mates!

Both of these teams are on bad runs. Malaga has not won a game in all competitions in their last 11 matches. Their last win came in La Liga against 16th ranked Deportivo La Coruña back in November 26th! During that spell, they've lost the last 3 consecutive home matches against Espanyol (10th), Real Sociedad (5th), and Segunda Division - 19th ranked Cordoba in the Cup.
Las Palmas has issues of their own, but I did see an improved side last week in their loss at home vs Sevilla (3rd). They won the possession battle and shot more times on goal than their rivals, but couldn't score the goal. New signing Jese had a clear chance at the tie and he missed it incredibly. I see more quality in Las Palmas and at that price, I'll bet that Malaga continues to struggle while Jese and Boateng start finding some magic to squeak out the win.
Depending on the lineups, I may back the under as well, but for now I'll wait.

Good stuff Joga. Took arsenal but feeling the over on Malaga as neither team can keep a clean sheet.
That's a good point Dogberto... I may stay away from the total on this one and my inclination goes the other way, but I failed to realize what you just pointed out.
GL on your plays today!

Alright.. I like Arsenal's lineup enough to add some more $$ to them:
Arsenal -2.5 -122 @ Sutton United: 2.44 / 2.00 Units
By the way, I realize that the original post got duplicated on this thread.. So I only have one bet to win 6 units and another to win 2 for the sake of keeping my score correct here.

I'm on the other side for Malaga. They actually don't play bad but forget to reward them with 3 points time on time again the last couple of games. Las Palmas on the road is a whole different story rather than them playing in Gran Canaria.

I've seen a few of you on Newcastle today and though I usually don't like to bet on other than 1st tier leagues (Cups being a whole different story), I like the pick and I'll bite. I guess that's the real value of this forum.. everybody helps each other in one way or another:
EFL Championship
Newcastle United FC -1 +109 vs Aston Villa: 3.00 / 3.24 Units
Newcastle United FC -1 +112 vs Aston Villa: 3.00 / 3.36 Units
Yes, I placed my first bet and then said, "what the heck.. go in for 6 units," and of course the ML had changed by then haha.. what a clusterfck..

I actually agree with you with that. At the start of the season, Las Palmas was IMO borderlining on great @ home, but it seems that they've also lost that a bit. I think however, that Malaga has their key players missing and I liked what I saw last week from Las Palmas eventhough they lost. I think Jese is a great fit for them and if they put up a goal before Malaga can, I don't see Malaga being able to score on them.. Hoping for a good game and at least, barring and draws, one of the two will win!
By the way, you persuaded me on Newcastle.. so tailing you on that one! GL today sir!! Let's get that $$

Haha. Fair point for Las Palmas, it was wat held me from betting Malaga in first place but after going back and forth I decided to ride with Malaga either way.
I'm sorry, I just really like Newcastle tonight BOL!
