True to my reputation, things just sort of fizzled out after such a promising start to the week...
Sunday:
ENG MANCHESTER CITY TEAM TOTAL OVER 2½ [FT] -114 *2 UNITS* *This one makes the most sense to me on a lot of different levels (if the AH hits, this hits; if the game total hits this, in all likelihood, hits; most important, it can still hit without either one of those hitting), so let's go with it: a) City's got United on deck next week, so they're not going to want to waste their time with Wolves - "shock and awe" should be the name of the game, b) in the two games since Carlos Tevez returned to the starting lineup, Tevez with 4 goals, Sergio Aguero with 4 goals, and City with totals of 6 and 4 - that quick strike offense that featured so prominently to start the season looks like it's returned, c) their last ten Premier League matches at Molineux, Wolves have given up 2 or more goals in 8/10, 3 or more goals in 6/10 and, of most significance to this wager, 3 or more goals in six of their last seven, d) City's tallied 3 or more goals in 4 of their last 5 with Wolves, and e) first choice keeper Wayne Hennessey is out for the season, so that means backup Dorus de Vries gets the start in net for Wolves - if he were any good to begin with, odds are he would've gotten the nod long before now.
The only major cause of concern would be the fact that last week's 6-1 win at Norwich marked the first time since November that City's scored 3+ on the road (actually, it was the first time since November they've scored more than one on the road) but, like I said, the offense seems to be clicking again for the first time in a long time, and all the pieces look to be in place for this to happen, so let's make it happen.

This game is setup to be a close one, United are the slight favourites due to home advantage, but Everton are capable of giving any team a tough game. Nikica Jelavic has scored 5 goals in his last 5 starts for the Toffees and he will look to make it 6 in this one. On the other hand Wayne Rooney has failed to net in his last 6 against his former club and boyhood team. The timely return of Nani has given Sir Alex another option on the wings which could be pivotal as we enter the final stage of the season.
Manchester United : 1.35
Everton : 8.58
Draw : 4.70
