Anyone have any interesting articles or books they can recommend for capping soccer. I have a fair knowledge of the sport as I've played my whole life. Want to take soccer wagering to the next level. Thanks in advance!

My advice is simple and to the point......years ago I learned that reading books on wagering on sports whether baseball, football, basketball, hockey, basically any sport.....can actually be a bad thing more do than a good thing.
I assume any book on soccer would be the same.
Most books are "system" orientated......and I learned many years ago......a system is a short term solution......and NOT a long term consistent money maker.
Each game in each sport merits its own reason for a wager or no wager.....and its your ability to dig and find info and a pinch of luck that it plays out that way you think....is the only way to learn and grow while wagering on sports!!
With all that said, there is nothing wrong with reading books on sports wagering because you will draw little bits and pieces and angles and ideas that may just help you determine can edge in a particular game......
So read away....store some stuff ......just don't take one book or idea from a book as the gospel.
I can't recommend a soccer book to read....just open your mind...look at results....study....read.....get a feel....and the magic and potential numerous winners are out there especially with so many matches being played worldwide and all year long. Soccer can be a real money maker and I wish you success in the future.

My advice is too start betting with very small amounts of money for a period of time and keep track of how you are doing....even if you are losing you will be wagering very small amounts and learning a lot along the way...you will know when you are ready to increase your wager size because you'll be winning. No better way to learn than playing

I like to read stats and match reports on the lower leagues of England.
My advice would be to stick to a few league I usally only play england especially at the beginning while your still learning. Learn the managers tatics, the teams styles of play, which league produced more upsets and which leagues are more likely go chalk. For example the gap between the best team in League two is not the same as the gap between the best team in Championship I think that league two has many more opportunities for big upsets (+240 or above) than the championship. Thats not to say that weird results don't happen in championship I would just be quicker to pull the trigger in L2 over Championship. Overs in League Cup early in season too is gold and can increase your bankroll/cofidence.
Lots of good posters in here to that post religously be sure to read their plays and reasoning don't be afraid to ask why they like a side over another. They make this the best board on covers by far.
Bol on your plays.
