I am a new football fan, starting watching during last years world cup and been liking it since.....my question is, what is the quality of the MLS.....im from canada but i have never really watched it. What european league would you compare it to. Thanks

No, just kidding...&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;you will get opinions all over the board, depending where people are from.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;It is definitely not on par with the talent level of EPL, LaLiga or Bundesliga.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;the better thing to do is to watch them for a while and bet the teams that seem most consistent (seattle and Real Salt Lake at home are usually strong and good for unders for example.)

Fat Chick......Take the top leagues in Europe like England, Spain, Germany, etc........I&#x27;d say the MLS is 3 leagues or levels under those top leagues........Just my opinion tho........INVESTINSPORTS

This made my day, Bake...If you regularly watch EPL, La Liga, Bundesliga matches, then MLS can be pretty painful to watchA lot of the times it&#x27;s just a lot of booting the ball down the field and risky passes that almost never pay off...I&#x27;ll only watch MLS if I&#x27;ve got a bet going, and even then I&#x27;ll usually pass on itI&#x27;m sure there are some who really enjoy it, but I usually just get frustrated watching it

thanks guys, im close to montreal and they are getting a team next year, i was hoping to get into it, guess ill just have to watch this year and see for myself.

You should probably watch Toronto at Vancouver tommorow. MLS has a lot of work to do, but each year the atmosphere is getting much better now that teams are playing in their own stadiums. Obviously the quality of play will never be of the European top leagues but its not even 20 years old. Its #2 leauge in Concacaf, thats good enough for me.

Makes you wonder what David Beckham and Thierry Henry must be thinking, playing in the MLS after playing in top class leagues such as the EPL and La Liga! Guess if they get paid handsomely, it compensates for their grief a little bit...
