The Impact come into this match needing a big result in a big way. They lost at Heredia 1-0 earlier in the competition, but they played the entire second half a man short and finally conceded in the 85th minute. However, they played without many of their regulars, including MLS All-Star Marco Di Vaio. Tonight, Marco Schallibaum has already said they are going for the jugular. He said in a press conference that while some players will be rested, they are going "all in," and will try to register a six goal victory, as it's their only logical chance of advancing to the knockout stage of the competition. While many MLS clubs take this competition lightly because of the strain it puts on players in the middle of the league season, Schallibaum said this about tonight's match: "We are going to win this game. We have to go all in. We have a small chance and we'll try everything to take it."
