people tend to go ballistic not cuz they are being targeted, but cuz they were caught.
Two "biggies" going off tmrw, perhaps not in terms of amounts risked but still.
Juventus to win @-108 - "Why no love for Inter". I keep saying this will be a two-horse race by seasons end. Spalletti has been running his troops into the ground. and keeping the same starting lineups. this never bodes well and has proven to be unsuccessful when navigating the grind of Serie A and Coppa. luckily for them though theyve pretty much been able to avoid injuries and they arent involved in Europe this season, and their Coppa adventure doesnt start till next week.
forget my opinion for a minute. here we have a team whom 15 rounds into the season almost at the halfway point are: 1) in first place 2) unbeaten 3) own an incredible 33/10 goal diff.
they're paying a visit to see my boys in Turin, local books OPENED at +500 for them, and has dropped like a brick, 1st the news came out that Gigi wasnt even called onto the roster (nursing a thigh injury). 2nd was Dybala possibly being benched as he has found his way into Allegris doghouse. kid has been in bad form ever since Sampaoli left him off the Argentine roster because he couldnt "co-exist" with Messi on the field. So, we have our Captain AND leading scorer out.... yet STILL juice attached to the outright win???
Inter still unjustly isnt getting any respect.
For this match though, Allegri rested Chiellieni, Mandzukic, and even got some reduced minutes from Pjanic/Dybala as they subbed each other in their CL match earlier in the week. BALLSY but successful. though Gigi is out Szczesny is a suitable backup leading Poland to the WC.
Juve is starting to play that 'lights out' sort of defense similar to last years run. but I try to keep my tinted glasses off when I do a writeup and I must advise that Inter play that exact type of direct approach which has given us fits this year. this match is gonna be won in the midfield. but every time a contender comes to Turin they end up playing cautiously so Im not entirely sure just what exactly theyre gonna do the first 20 mins.
all in all (flipping on tinted glasses) Juve is on a roll. theyre rested, playing the kind of 'D' we've been known for, going up against a quality opponent whom we own a 7-1-1 record in the last 9 H2H's here. I smell a draw possibility but almost 'evens' at home??
for those curious of the O/U? I honestly do not know. as I said, Inter play that style which gives us fits (direct, and thru the middle of field). but if we grab an early lead an go into "lockdown" mode its gonna be bloody tough. Inter has scored just once in their past 4 visits here. considering the offensive firepower on display, over looks tempting but..... PASS.
Atalanta to win @+150 (Monday) ill get this up tmrw.
Sassuolo to win @-120 - basically a play against Crotone whom are in a complete mess this week. HC Nicola shockingly just got up and left the club, he was NOT fired; in no small part due to the fact the team president decided to come down into the locker room during halftime last Monday during their 3-0 loss to give the players a "pep talk". when ur the president, theres a time and place for everything ---- and that was NOT the time nor the place. buddies say theres a lot of in-fighting and finger pointing going on. Not only have Crotone never won here, theyve lost 4 straight Serie A matches being clean-sheeted each time, & now they are also without a coach for this match. fade these guys.
Udinese/Benevento over 2.5 @-127 (Sunday)- dont really mind the juice, visitors picked up their first point of the season last week, have the worst defense in Serie A, and have conceded 2+ in 5 of their 7 roadies.
Chievo/Roma over 3 @+125, over 4.5 @+400 - im actually suprised this doesnt have juice attached. Roma has had one of those tough, grind-it-out weeks and nabbed their CL advancement midweek. I just get the feeling they are going to be much more 'relaxed' here and 'bombs away' approach. Chievo in a bad run of form and have performed poorly vs table-top clubs this season conceding bunches to Juve(3), Milan(4),Samp(4), Inter netted 5 last weekend. it doesnt bode well that Roma have scored 3+ in the last 4 H2H's too. they could hit this total on their own.
I have Dzeko pegged as my striker in fantasy this week but his prices are too juiced. however, El Shaarawy absolutely loves playing this team having banged in 3 in the past 2 meetings.
El Shaarawy to score anytime @+160
