only 2nd week in so not much to go on, I'm keeping stakes to a minimum until we get to the 5th round of matches.
early game Villa Newcastle - Villa were abysmal at home last season, Newcastle also had a disappointing campaign, villa got a good result at stoke but I'm not basing much on that, a game to pass over for me and I'll be asleep anyway
Chelsea Leicester - Leicester got a creditable home draw against everton but this is a real test for their credentials. Once burnley scored against them, chelsea turned on the after burners and then stayed in 2nd gear for the 2nd half. No value in any of the outright markets, another small stab at a correct score for me, 2-0 at 6/1.
Palace West Ham - sometimes in this game the subplots are more interesting than the games, whats going on with palace from pulis leaving to malky mackay about to be appointed and then having to withdraw after his crass texts is interesting stuff.
Who knows what the palace players are making of this, palace didnt score much last season, Hammers are missing Andy Carroll upfront, this could be a tight, nervy game, Under 2
Southampton WBA - saints impressed against Liverpool, their demise was greatly exaggerated and they should get off the mark here, the price isnt great but its the most likely result against WBA who will struggle this season.
Swansea Burnley - I'm not going to get carried away with swans win against Man U but even without that result they should have too much quality here, Swansea -1.
Everton Arse - great matchup, looking forward to this one, some interesting stats here, Everton's win against arsenal in april was the first win for them in 13 attempts against them while Arsenal havent won the opening 2 games of a season since 2009. Everton drew a lot of matches against the big boys last year and thats how I think this one will pan out. 12/5 on the draw is a decent price.

on Wed. will factor into Sat. game vs. Everton? They flew to Turkey for the 1st leg, a 0-0 draw, and I see several key players, including Giroud, went the full 90'. Is Arsenal deep enough to where this won't matter to much?

How do feel Arsenal's 2nd leg match vs. Besiktas

thanks jules, its easy speaking in hindsight of course but Chelsea were always in control and they have the players to go up a gear if they go a goal down.
lets summarise the day
newcastle villa - no play
chelsea leicester 2-0 correct score , chelsea are a correct score bettor's dream, they dont concede often and they dont score many either.
palace west ham under 2, palace in trouble , need a new manager very quickly
southampton wba disappointing performance from saints in a poor game
swansea -1 push
teams still finding their feet so thats why you're not seeing many goals.
nicely up on the day from that correct score and good to see Nottingham Forest winning nicely in the championship
