Up and down like a rollercoaster...
Saturday:
Schalke-Hoffenheim Over 3 @ 1.74 (2/10)
Bielefeld-Aue Over 2.5 @ 2.05 (1/10)
Wolfsburg-Bayern, Bayern -1.5 @ 1.90 (1/10)
Arsenal-Everton Under 2.5 @ 1.92 (1/10)
Bastia-PSG, PSG -1.5 @ 2.07 (1/10)
Schalke and Hoffenheim are both scoring machines, averaging 3.3 (Schalke) and 4.3 (Hoffenheim) goals per game. Both teams met twice this season, Hoffenheim won 3-1 in the cup game, the other game tied 3-3. A small concern is that Farfan is out for Schalke but still they have enough offensive firepower to score 2-3 against Hoffenheim. After all, they are due to show their fans something and what better opponent could you get than Hoffenheim? They conceded 48 goals in 23 games, so I surely don't expect Schalke to play a tactical game or sit back. Schalke rarely keeps a clean sheet and Hoffenheim is too strong offensively not to score (beat Wolfsburg 6-2! last game). I see 3 goals at the very minimum, scoring festival is far more likely here.
Bielefeld is in a slump lately but I believe this is the game they will get out of it. They have a new coach, all important players are ready and Aue can't manage to play a good defense on away games. Bielefeld's defense has also performed poorly most of this season, keeping a clean shit only twice this season! I know the last two games ended under, but that was more due to Bielefeld missing some crucial offensive players and their opponents (Düsseldorf and Ingolstadt) are typical under teams. Getting this at plus money is a must bet for me.
With the chance of the PL title disappearing and their knockout in the CL being a sure thing, the FA Cup is Arsenal's last chance to finally claim a title again this year. But Everton is a very tough opponent to play, they gave Chelsea and Tottenham a hard time, losing both away games 1-0. Arsenal is in a somewhat bad form, and I believe a draw is likely here. In any case I expect a tactical game, not risking too much and either a close victory or a tie for either team. They played 1-1 at Arsenal in December and all their 5 last meetings have combined for a total of 6 games (little relevance but interesting nonetheless). Don't see this one go over.
And finally, my square plays on Bayern and PSG. What to say? Both meet teams who can be hard to play. French teams often struggle when playing on Corsica, but I don't see Bastia's defense being strong enough to hold PSG to 1-2 goals, especially as they suffer from some injured players. They lost their last two home games each 0-2, so why shouldn't they do now against PSG? This team does nothing but winning, same as Bayern. Betting on Bayern -1.5 has become a weekly routine for me and I do not care who they play or which player is injured. As long as they keep on destroying the entire league, I will back them.
BoL everyone!
