Not a mortgage job and just about a worthwhile play at a shade of odds on, you'd rather go to the Ukraine in August rather than in winter but they are still worthy home faves, Basel have lost a ridiculous 10 games in the toilet swiss league (still not as bad as the scottish league).

Dude, the game is at a neutral site in Western Germany. If you don't know what country the game is being played on and with no fans so playing at home actually means nothing. Just so you know all the games are one legged and played in Germany. Leverkusan were playing in their home country today and were Merced in the first 20 minutes by the boys from Milan, Italy. Good Luck with your bets

Based on the +$320 teams in Europa win about 24% of the time Basel wins 46% of the time with these odds 50/50 pretty much you can play +1 goal and still get them at -$115. The ML has come down pretty quickly. 92% had Manchester United winning in regular time against a "shitty" league team that was supposed to have tired legs. Basel sells all their young talent for 10s of millions every couple of years. Arsenal's center defense is made up entirely of former FC Basel players so talent does come from the once dominant Giant of Swiss football. Donetsk only were able to score once Wolfsburg were down to ten men as the refs equaled the sides after Victor the Donetsk defender took down a Wolfsburg player who would have been one on one with the Donetsk goalie in a zero to zero match Wolfsburg is nothing to rewrite home about it took Donetsk til the 89th minute then two in the late extra time so the 3-0 score is extremely misleading. Basel is a very good defensive team just shutting out a Frankfurt that has a better team and attack then Wolfsburg. Basel had over three times more shots on goal then Frankfurt they are in form winning five in a row better than Donetsk. FC Basel is a 1-0 type of team and even defeated the #1 team in the league after play restarted. There is not much difference between the leagues and in international football We always see the Swiss Nationals drawing against much higher rated teams 0-0 or 1-1. The style of play can frustrate teams that are accustomed to high scoring open football and that is exactly what the Ukrainian league is especially this year. 5-3 games are the norm.I would play the draw first half and 1-0 Basel or 0-0 draw at the end of regulation. Ukrainian football is reckless and the Swiss are boring and defensive. I would also bet a red card because the Swiss tackle hard and often diving low getting the ball and then continuing into the forwards legs hard. Both teams are in good form the Ukrainians have more attacking power but their defense is poor and they take chances which leads to them being counterattacked this is exactly how Basel plays and is the mind set of Swiss football. Donetsk team has always been very Brazilian heavy and one will wonder how into this match they will be it is basically a third rate Brazilian squad. The Ukrainian Preimer League is literally a two team league that's it. Usually Dinamo Kiev but then Donetsk that's it year after year. They are not used to being challenged Basel shutout Frankfurt in both legs winning5-0. Donetsk got their only clean sheet in Euopa playlast time out against a Wolfburg team that hadn't played in seven weeks. First time in their history they kept a clean sheet also Wolfsburg being down only 2-1 made this a tight and testy game as it was 0-0 with one minute to go. A Wolfsburg goal would have eliminated Donetsk on goal differential. Donetsk hasn't had a lot of playing time or much to play for in a longtime and the best Brazilian is with the Swiss side. 1-0 Basel.

Wolfsburg are known as a really tough team to breakdown in the Bundesliga, versus most other teams that tend to just go for it. I think that sets a decent form line for Shakhtar.
Also, you don't think Tyson will be the best Brazilian player out on the field Frank? The guy has been a stud for many years for Shakhtar, or is he injured?

hey Boll...... "also bet a red card because the Swiss tackle hard and often diving low getting the ball and then continuing into the forwards legs hard." you taking notes too? sliding tackles make red cards. who would have thunk?
what the h*ll are you cluttering Bollox' threads for? firstly, Boll is a respected member of this forum, not only from me but as you can see, quite a few others as well. and whenever I click on the thread next to his name my expectations are to never have to read a load of horsesh*t. so yeah, he mistakenly forgot about the venue, big deal. and out of respect for him Im not going to tear apart everything you mentioned word by word. but ive said this once. Ive said this twice..... and ill keep saying it:
do you ever, ever, EVER..........fact check before you post your loads of garbage?
" They are not used to being challenged.... " Shakhtar? they may or may not advance tonight but..... then how do you explain them beating Atalanta in Bergamo or pull level with City up @Etihad? and that was just THIS YEAR. you're CLUELESS.
" First time in their history they kept a clean sheet " Shakhtar has 7 cleansheets in europe comps the past 3 years sherlock.
my apologies Boll, circus week. as you can see, Im in a great mood this evening. GL tonight , i know your play is somewhere up there
