Spurs -135: Hate to go against my Toffees but think their great recent run in the league comes to an end here at Tottenham against a Spurs team back in form after a rough stretch due mainly to injuries. Kulusevski and Son will be a handful for Everton and now former Blue Richarlison is finding the back of the net in recent games. Everton coming off a gut wrenching home loss in penalties to Fulham in the Carabao Cup quarterfinals on Tuesday and the injuries are starting to creep into a side that is not particularly deep to begin with. I think Tottenham's high press will give Everton plenty of problems and I just don't see them doing enough on the counter attack to get anything out of this game. Also consider Everton has won just ONCE in the last 21 games against Spurs. Looking at a 3-1 type game for the home side.

Of course the big game of the day is Arsenal going to Anfield to take on Liverpool. The Reds are always a tough out for anyone at Anfield but Arsenal has more than enough firepower to trouble a Reds defence that has been hit and miss in recent games. With a gun to my head I would back the home team but not comfortable enough to lay any kind of significant wager on this one. And as an Evertonian I won't be at all disappointed to see Liverpool take a nice beatdown at Anfield ... or as Evertonians unaffectionately like to call it "The Tin Mine".

3-0 and the bankroll gets a boost before Christmas but I'm not happy about the result today. Referee, VAR, the crossbar and about two inches of a soccer ball cost Everton massively.
