Sunderland Cardiff - 20th v 19th - it would be easy to say that if sunderland can get 4 points against man city and chelsea, they would be shoo-ins here, well as u know, thats not how football works, sunderland's achilles heel this year has been facing teams like cardiff they should beat, just as well this is a 4am ko for me, no play
Liverpool Chelsea- every recent stat says Liverpool should win this but I'm going to have a small bet on chelsea here because liverpool have rode their luck and their defensive mistakes to outscore lesser teams, chelsea will deny them space and frustrate them. Mourinho showed us on wednesday how he can get a job done by denying Atletico. Yes, their focus will be on the return leg but he'll still put out a team that can get a result here. Here's a stat for you :
Chelsea have lost only one of seven Premier League games played in between Champions League semi-final matches (and that was back in 2004); winning four
and drawing two and Jose Mourinho has won six and lost just one of his eight previous Barclays Premier League meetings with Liverpool (D1).
So with Liverpool now expected to win the league and with the pressure that brings at 4/6 and Chelsea at 4-1, the blues are the play for me here.
Palace City - What a transformation for Palace under Pulis, they've won their last 5 matches, City have only won 2 of their last 11 at selhurst park, palace have only conceded 20 goals in 23 games, only chelsea have conceded less, yet they're 7-1 to win at home!!!
You know where I'm going here, Palace pk, palace +.5, +1 etc. You might have to turn down your tv in the morning because the palace fans will be making such a racket!

a compelling game of football to watch, rodgers outfoxed by his former teacher, never count out the tactical genius that is mourinho who got his tactics spot on.
City have more "incentive" to beat palace now but I still like the home team at the prices
