Hey! As a sneaky reader I always follow the threads, so I will put my thoughts on the table as well
The price is generous, for sure. Let me put it this way - If Malmo was put in the Scottish league, they would compete for the title every year along with Celtic. This can be seen as a 'final' for both sides. We have to consider what is on stake for both these teams
For Celtic, it's a big European club, they cannot really afford to miss champions league, it's £20 million on stake here. Ronny Deila is a coach whose job is very dependent of these two matches with Malmo. A loss and he is out, a win and he can relax for another season. What is worrying here is that Celtic have conceded 4 goals in the last 2 league games against very weak opponents. The importance of a clean sheet is massive, but it does smell like Malmo will grab at least an away goal. Celtic would need minimum 2 goals here to be 'OK' for the away leg
Malmo - Made miracle against Salzburg again, and in my eyes, Salzburg is a better side than Celtic, way more difficult to play against Salzburg away. For this game, main striker Markus Rosenberg is suspended, and defensive midfielder Enoch Adu as well. Coach Age Hareide knows the Celtic coach very well (both from the same country) and used to coach against each other in Norway, so there will be no tactical surprises. Despite Rosenbergs absence, Nikola Djurdjic is a player of similar attitude, perhaps even a better finisher. A factor I think is important is that Rosenberg still travelled with the team, as he is the captain and will do his part to pep-talk the team.
Let's also consider that Celtic have only just begun their domestic league, while Malmo have already played 2/3 of a full season, and already competed in Champions League versus Salzburg recently. Celtic are immediately thrown into their most important game of the season very early on, with basically only a pre-season behind them. Malmo feels like the better suited team, and I would not have the odds higher than 3.80 for the away win, but still, Malmo would take a 2-1 loss and still be confident
I personally do not bet on this game - I await the home game, as I think Malmo will be nearly underdogs even at home, and that is when I invest my stake. Celtic have no idea what is waiting in the second game coming up.. only Juventus and Atletico Madrid have beaten Malmo there since 2011. Celtic will need 2 or 3 goals tonight or else I think they can wave the group stage goodbye
Good luck!

I forgot another factor which the papers are writing much about. The 50 000 fans at Celtic Park which will get into the Malmo players heads. I am not so sure.. the Swedes are used to hostile atmospheres on their own home games. It is enough to go on you-tube and look at some of the home games to feel the atmosphere.
I have seen the Celtic forum and their supporters are 50/50 when it comes to respecting the opponents. Many thinks it will be easy 3-0 or 4-0, while many are also fearing that the Celtic defense is not ready for this game, due to conceding 4 goals in 2 games (4-2 and 2-2) against way weaker opponents.
I believe Malmo will not be overly cocky though and go "full attack" obviously. Both teams to score would be my small bet if I had to pick something, but I rather stay away. Hopefully this first leg can offer a competitive result for the second leg, and then I will go quite heavy on the next round

3-2 Celtic, two away goals conceded. Last goal coming in minute 90+5(!) and the Celtic players and fans left the stadium with the heads hanging by disbelief of conceding a heavy late away goal. Malmo have a result advantage and a mental advantage, stadium has been sold out for 3 days already. Buzzing for the return leg, will invest heavy..
Will provide a discussion for that game later on too

Good game guys, well played A bit gutted I did not sprinkle something myself on "both teams to score" but was entertaining and dramatic "Both teams to score would be my small bet if I had to pick something"
First look at the odds by Bwin, 2.35 on the straight home win is very enticing. That means around 1.80 for draw not bet
