I have to wait for 5dimes Ultra to post this match as it is not listed on the general bet list - so no clue yet what bets I'll make. Rionegro v. Leones . . . RioNegro is pretty decent - they drilled Leones 0-3 at Leones' pitch in the reverse recently. Leones meanwhile just dropped from the top 8 in Primera B to 10th spot, with three to play. I would suspect since they are dead in Copa Colombia they will rest their best players in today's Copa Colombia match in order to make one last push to get back into the top 8 in league play. I think Rionegro is going to put on a show for the home crowd this evening. I just hope that the book hangs a line accessible to me.

Disssss Any thoughts on Sante Fe / Am. De Cali Over 2 ?
I already have a vested interest, but hoping to get some input on whether or not i missed something. Ditto for Copa Lib today if you find some time to look into todays slate.

America de Cali v. Independiente Santa Fe 745 PM CST
First - Kudos to AdC for agreeing to play this match early to assist ISF in resting before its next Copa Lib match. Well-played, sir. What I take from this gentlemanly gesture is that AdC is confident in its own fitness and gameplay at the moment to the extent that it is willing to concede a potential advantage of "crunching" ISF into holding back Copa players from playing against AdC. That's moxie, baby. Moxie.
America de Cali is an exciting team - especially playing at home. The "Red Devils" were only recently promoted and have played lights out AT HOME - they play with heart, passion and energy. They typically play offensive formations and haven't shied away from their style of play when facing the Bigger Fish in domestic league play. I think they will take the game to ISF tonight. This should be true even though they've played one more game since
ISF is a great team - with great international experience. Their away form this year, however, has been abysmal. . . worse in my opinion than AdC. Maybe its Copa Lib distraction? I don't know what the cause is - what I do see though is a heck of lot of criticism in Bogota about their recent play . . . stinging criticism. I don't anticipate a "park the bus" mentality tonight from ISF - sure, its true that a draw sees them back into the Top 8, a good thing for P.R., but based on AdC gameplay of late, I wouldn't be comfortable trying to keep match scoreless for 90 minutes - especially in front of a passionate crowd cheering on the former Primera B side.
ISF is classically a solid team - and certainly should be able to utilize its skill to score on AdC - but matching that skill will be the energy and "I think I can, I think I can, I think I can - Little Engine that Could" mindset of an aggressive Cali side with "something to prove" this season.
Give me the o/2 all day at close to even money. In 10 home matches, AdC has been scoreless only thrice - in 8 away games, scoreless only two times. Santa Fe meanwhile has had very little success with the exception of Deportivo Cali keeping a clean sheet against TOP 8 teams. Let;s see America de Cali give a passive middle finger to Deportivo Cali by accomplishing what DC could not do - find the net against ISF.

Lanus pretty much pummeled the stuffing out of Zulia in Buenos Aires 5-0 last week. They Ike'd their Tina; they Chris'd their Rihanna; they Moby'd their person. The difference in quality is pretty significant. Bottom line is that Lanus always brings it when it comes to big tourneys . . . and they always play a 4-3-3, if I recall correctly.
I put myself in the shoes of a Zulia player. First, I got run out of Buenos Aires last week. Second, my country is falling apart around me. Third, we prioritize (a) beisbol; (b) Miss Universe; (c) murdering former Miss "Universes"; and (d) nationalization of foreign corporations before futbol. So - i'm going out tonight with a tremendous chip on my shoulder. A draw gets me nowhere and pretty much ends my Copa run . . . so I'm going to play aggressive, I'm going to expose my goal in the process and I'm going to get scored on, and then I'm going to get mad and do stupid stuff like penalties and red cards.
2500 police are mobilized for the match tonight - 5 times as many as one might see for a local match.
Wish there was a way to bet "will the game be abandoned? yes" - that would have a good shot based on the social unrest. Wish we could ship Isla Margarita up here to hold until things calm down in V-town.
Lanus playing a 4/3/3 will score - plain and simple - and Zulia has no choice but to push as a draw still screws it based on goal differential. Lanus won't be "parking the bus" with its 4/3/3 . . .that ain't its style. Zulia is also strong at home, . . . granted against domestic talent . . . but behind their firey crowd, there should be some goals in this one.

Franz!! I totally am on board with your wagers, man! I took a peak a moment ago - very solid card, mate!!!
Beer - I know, right??? What's up with that line? Let's get the over EARLY and pop open a can of beer.
Adding:
EMELEC V. RIVER PLATE 7 PM CST
Caveat - I hate River Plate. I got so much pleasure when they were relegated briefly a few seasons back . . . they just seemed to me back then to be a team of cry baby prima donna fall-taking sissy boys. Frankly - in reading the great argentinian soccer periodical "Ole", the articles about "River" seem to suggest they are coming into this match overly-cocky. Like cocky 2.0. Like super-cocky. Such a high level of cocky that they kind of sound uber D-Bag-ish. Anywho. . .
Interesting view of the pitch if these are indeed accurate:
When I think of Ecuadoran soccer, I automatically think of Emelec - they are a beast at home . . . hard to beat . . . they are talented and have no injury concerns. I think they surprise an over-confident River Plate.

OK - BEFORE DISCUSSING THE GAME, I'D LIKE TO MAKE A SMALL ANNOUNCEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE SANTA CRUZ, BOLIVIA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE - IF YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN TO VISIT THE SALT FLATS IN SANTA CRUZ, ADD THAT TRIP TO YOUR BUCKET LIST - VERY COOL EXPERIENCE . . . AND NOT AS MANY STEPS THANK GOD AS MACHU Pikachu PICCHU IN PERU . . . SERIOUSLY GOOGLE IMAGE THE SANTA CRUZ SALT FLATS - AWESOME EXPERIENCE. DON'T FORGET A SELFIE STICK.
Must win for Sport Boys BUT things are rough around the Team at the moment. The Coach just quit yesterday (?), salaries haven't been paid and the first team hasn't practiced since returning last Friday after their 2-0 defeat at Godoy. I suppose the "game day appearance fee" bounty paid by Copa might fix things . . .
Godoy playing a 4/3/3 against a team which must win if it wants to keep 3rd place in the group (and the Copa Sudamericana birth) in play. . .

Great write up on Lanus / Zuila, Dis! Yes, I think Lanus will not show any respect to Zuila and should be aggressive. 2500 federalis are a lot for one match. Is Maduro printing food stamps to pay them for OT hours??
