Bundesliga Playoffs
Hamburger SV-Greuter Fürth, HSV ML @ 1.86 (2/10)
Odds on Hamburg are increasing but I nevertheless feel good about this pick. Hamburg played a pathetic season but there is a big difference between teams from the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga. Fürth choked in all games that were considered important games. Hamburg showed a very convincing performance in Mainz, if they can repeat this I have no doubts they will beat Fürth. Slomka is an experienced coach when it comes to avoiding relegation, a couple of years ago he saved Hannover when everyone was already sure they would be relegated.
Eredivisie Playoffs
AZ Alkmaar-FC Groningen, Groningen +0.5 @ 2.08 (1/10)
Groningen in excellent form and as long as that continues, I have to ride with them. Maybe the streak comes to an end tonight, but with odds above 2, I simply have to back the team that won eight in a row versus a team that only won 1 of their last 10 games.
Danish Cup
FC Copenhagen-Aalborg, Copenhagen ML @ 2.10 (1/10)
This final is played at Parken stadium in Copenhagen, hence it's a home game for FC Copenhagen. Aalborg won the championship last week so I expect them to be less hungry for this title than FC. Copenhagen built some momentum and could save the season with taking this title and overtaking Midtjylland in the last game to secure a qualification spot for the Champions League. Aalborg has had major problems when playing at Parken in the past, the last 5 games in this stadium against FC ended :
3-0,4-0,3-0,3-0,2-0,2-0 (all losses)
I therefore like the home team to win the cup in 90 minutes.
Wish everyone good luck!

I have a question about the hamburg match. Kaiser, dont you think 1.85 (bet365, or 1.97 pinnacle) is way too high? I mean we talk about first against second league. About hamburg playing at home in the match of the year. Maybe of the last decade. They have to win, otherwise its a desaster for the club and the city.
They obviously have the better players anf are more experienced. I know they played a ridiculous season. And they dont deserve relegation. But now they are in it.
Dont you think the odds are a present and hamburg should win it? I mean theres always the chance of a tie. But for 1.85-2.00 you HAVE to take it. Its do or die on home court.
Whats your opinion? I consider a maximum play.

Odds are still rising, up to 1.98 now. I personally believe those odds are way too high, but I have a hard time agreeing to a maximum play on Hamburg, considering how pathetic their season was.
Reasons why I bet Hamburg: - Fare more quality, Calhanoglu and Lasogga are assets - even on an international level. Van der Vaart, Jansen, Adler - those are players Fürth cannot compete with.
- Slomka is one of the best "homecoaches" - however he sucks on away games, lost every single one of those this season.
- Given Slomka's and Hamburg's weakness in away games, they have to win this one at home. You are right - do or die. - HSV struggles when opponents have a strong offense, however I don't think this is the case with Fürth. They finished dead last last season and only scored 26 goals in 34 games. Their offense has not improved much this year, considering they play 2nd Bundesliga now.
I believe we will see Fürth trying to hold a 0-0 but eventually Hamburg's offensive stars will score one. I don't believe it will happen in the beginning of the game, but as time progresses I see Hamburg increasing the pressure and score the 1-0. This could then already be the final score, maybe Hamburg adds a second one.
Therefore I also added the under:
Hamburg-Fürth Under 2.5 @ 2.09 (1/10)

Kaiser, I wish you the best of luck! When I was capping this match I noticed that Furth has actually scored more away goals than any club in the 2nd division. I do expect Hamburg to hold serve at home, but that's the main reason I laid off. Furth's offense seems to have stepped it up this past season, especially away from home.

I only saw parts of the second half but it seems it was another shameful performance, at home in the most crucial game against a beatable Fürth team.
It is sad how the only two players who seem to care about what happens to this club are a 19 year old who was transfered from a club in the third league, and a player on loan who will likely return to his club (Hertha BSC) after the season.
Leaves me with a 2-2 day and a loss of 0.83 Units.
