had my head handed back to me on a platter yesterday, silver lining to it was ended on the '+' side thru both days but still. Euro comps are always an ungodly tough grind.
guess ill just do the Serie A teams first.
UEL: the two reps are in decent shape. but must advise to keep a wary eye on Milan/Lazio, Scudetto race/CL positioning for next year trumps this comp.
Milan/Betis - dont know much about this Spanish side, a quick look at their table/stats/opponents tells me theyve been having a hard time scoring. and just 12 total goals thru 9 matches, which might be a little misleading as theyve yet to play the two behemoths out there. werent able to score in Greecce vs Olymp; and have a domestic roadie in 3 days time vs a team level with them in Liga table. so I honestly dont know what the heck to expect from them here. for Milan however, lost their derby over the wknd; and they were absolutely villified from their fans, media, management, Ultras.... nasty stuff being spoken in media; locker room chatter anongst players. but more importantly, it also knocked them back down to the lower half of table. and Gattuso again getting pressure. and then theres Donnarumma. when Gigi was heading towards retirement ppl were annoiting him "heir apparent"; hte only "air" about him is whats between his ears. and if anyone doesnt believe me feel free to check the video of Icardis 92nd minute derby-winning goal last sunday... pay close attention to this head case right before that cross into the box. if ur an Azzuri supporter like I, and looking at our future.. you'd be nervous as h*ll too.
anyways, Gonzo(Higuain) getting the start; and actually Milan have a pretty strong lineup being sent out & I feel they DO have the better quality of the two teams. but Milan has this habit of playing down to their opponents level. at least this isnt juiced up and dont have to worry about the HC lines. they should be able to squeak one out here.
Milan to win @-104
Marseille/Lazio - gotta PASS on this one. Lazio hosts Inter in a BIGGIE on monday nite. Marseille I noticed gets their shot at PSG in 3 days time @home. have the foggiest clue of either squads motivation for this one; i CAN tell you Lazio will rotate almost certainly. can the same be said about Marseille? i dont know, at a glance, smells like a low scoring draw.
back in a bit with a few others.

Gambling Milan always worries me in this comp. we'll see how it goes.
adding: wanted to at least confirm lineups.
Ludogorets pick @-133 - though theyre on road, got to take a shot with the class difference here.
Lisboa/Arsenal over 2.5 @-125 - EPL squads dont fare well in Portugal; and Gunners just played on Monday and get this opponent at home next round. so im leery of the outright. but both sides have concerns in the back and have been scoring in bunches of late.
(strongest of early matches going off)
Zagreb to win @-135, -1 @+108 - kind of wish i paid attention and jumped on this when the line came out (which was in the +150 range). though its another roadie, theres a pretty significant difference in class here. since being booted by Young Boys in the CL qualifiers these Croats are unbeaten in 9 straight, this includes Fenerbahce & Anderlecht.
might have a few later plays.
GL to all.

as was thy concern, Milan just going thru the motions. should EASILY be down 0-3 right now. actually, Betis has a goal disallowed due to an incorrect offside call.
all that running & back/forth in Portugal and still scoreless. (funny how the only 'over' ya take when 11 matches go off concurrently is the only one scoreless & Zagreb had two goals taken back. we'll see what the next 45 brings. got to love europa ehh?
just added two others for later starts:
Frankfurt/Appollon over 3.5 @+127
Sarpsborg/Malmo over 2.5 @-105
GL to all.
