I watched the AC Milan match at Parma, and they looked VERY sharp. It concerns me that Juves are already up 2-1, but AC Milan may have Roma and Barca on their minds.
Juve are very much in the driving seat having won the first leg 2-1. Their squad is fitter at the moment and Chiellini will definitely make his come back tomorrow. Lichtsteiner, however, will be suspended. Their coach will probably use a 3-5-2 formation tomorrow with Del Piero and Borriello upfront, not the most dangerous offensive duo around.
Boateng, Nesta and Gattuso are back in the Milan squad and that is great news ahead of their Champions League fixture against Barcelona next week. For tomorrow’s game we can expect Mexes and Seedorf back in their starting line up, but not yet Robinho, Van Bommel or Abate.
Will Milan be 100% up for this cup game? I would think that winning the Scudetto and facing Barcelona with their strongest side must be the top priorities. Then again, you never know with footballers. Milan will play against Roma on Friday night and then Barcelona and they are not my winning favourites tomorrow. Allegri, the Milan coach, said about this cup game: “It will not be a war tomorrow”. How do you interpret this statement? No bet on the away win for this writer.
