UCL: "no-brainer" doesnt mean it will hit, just means no capping.
Dort/City - will there be a goal in first 26 minutes? Yes @-115 still several days away, just cut in paste what typed few weeks ago, same old, same old. "...you guys know im huge with following a coaches MO. and im not touching Pep full game when he has a lead after the 1st leg. Peps MO in these spots is pretty much the same year in & year out. and City is pretty consistent with their approach at this. 1) put their foots on your throat and destroy any possible thoughts in your melon of advancing by banging in an early one......." not always successful; either they score or be scored upon; but Pep hardly ever sits back and 'lets them come' at the onset in these situations. did the same at Barca, Munich, and now with City. and with Haavland around, might see some decent chances at both ends in the early going before things settle in.

late start. get the ladies up first. and toss up the convo on UCL matches.
Women Friendly: with 3/4 of our squad out decided to take the under earlier. so, naturally we bang one in the opening minute. ends 1-1? just ONCE, id love to hit an under than ends 0-0. hit serie b, holland gals.
France/USA - firstly, theres that small "problem" of the gals across the pond booting them from the WC last time they met on French soil. some might say a revenge. but PSG & Lyon face another in the 2nd leg of the Ladies Qtrs on the wknd. theres 10+ gals on those teams on the French roster. but theyve been playing weekly and in "shape". buddy thinks France rolls here. (i find that hard to believe) nobody "rolls" those gals from across the pond. thought USA was supposed to be in some "rebuilding" stage, guess their definition of rebuilding' is diff from everyone elses (laughing) cuz they are still havent lost in a few years. and thats not exactly a creampuff schedule they took on either. finally let someone score against them since god knows when few days ago. anytime i get these ladies near evens on a -1HC is an auto-play, never mind outrights. and looking at this expected lineup? well....having a decent day, what the heck, auto play. USA to win @-120, over 2.5 @+140

before getting started, just copy/paste from previous round (im too lazy to retype):
"past 5 years club whom won first leg on road are now at a 24-3 record in regards to advancing. (the % is even higher the further one goes back) this is one of the strongest "CL spots" you can possibly find. one which will be seriously tested on tuesday. i dont like using the word "trend". "trend" & "UCL" should NEVER be used in same sentence. but you wont hear any complaints from me if ur considering backing Chelsea & PSG on Tuesday to go through.
PSG/Munich - UEFA wasted NO TIME. as expected, assigned Daniele to hold the whistle. he is one of the very best of this generation, you dont get these callups constantly wihtout getting respect from players. lets them play. "a players referee" is the term they use. HOWEVER.... Daniele takes no sh*t from anybody either. and you guys know hes gone on record with that interview few years back regarding his stance on the state of the game (specifically?.... flopping). they gave whistle to him last August in final. handed out 8 (6 in 2nd half when tempers started flaring) and doing it again for tomorrow. and we get the added 'bonus'.... Verratti is cleared to play and we know the history there. over 5.5 cards @+106. PSG TT over 3 cards @+124 i should take Flopper to get carded, you just 'KNOW' this one is coming

hit the sweet one last week with TT & outrights, not sure if want to do that again. yeah, Lew & Gnabry were out. but as discussed, one of the reasons for taking the Paris side, - and you can blame Flick for this loss last week - when youre going to play a high line with the offside trap and Kylian standing there on the opposite side of the pitch.... you better not have a leadfoot in the middle back there. in defense of Kule, hes coming off an ACL injury No Lew/Gnabry again, Kule indeed re-injured that leg. god bless him for a quick recovery. Bayern misfiring. ppl keep talking about all their goals but boths biggest contributions to/for Bayern is the fact they create soo much space for everyone else when in there. and Lew dont need 3-4 tries to bang one home. on the other side, Verratti back. so right then and there, I dont think Bayern are going to be enjoying the dominance they had in 1st leg in middle of park. and people can say what they want, but the fact of the matter is PSG have conceded the fewest of any club in this thing since last year - 16 in 20 matches and since they can even afford a loss - which is exactly what thy melon is thinking: Germans win but Parisians advance. again, as discussed, Bayern HAS TO score 2 to even have a chance at advancing. and then start capping the game from that point forward and figure it out however you want. my own thoughts: you can have the best laid out plan. yet still.......... SPEED destroys offside traps. it also gives opponents 2nd thoughts from sending more bodies forward, but eventually, Bayern is going to have to do that at some point in this match; and they have nobody back there whom can handle Mbappe one on one in an open area. so Lews/Gnabrys absence - again - isnt Bayerns biggest problem tomorrow I dont think, its the other end. besides, PSG havent been cleansheeted @home since '15. in any case, Germans hung 30+ shots on them last week. PSG werent exactly playing great positional 'D', and if Bayern rips off anywhere near the 20 mark tomorrow? pffft. Bayern TT O1.5 @-145 - yes, i know. juiced, a rare one.
both halves over 1.5 @+190 - cr*p price. 2nd half all h*ll will break loose no matter what scoreline is. so my melon thinking "im getting 190 for the 1st half to hit" kind of a messed up thought process.

Chelsea/Porto - dont think much to see here. I wonder if Tuschel will follow Peps 'playbook': bang in an early one and force them to get 4. but Chels had their way in Portugal; so they dont even need to win - or do anything for that matter tomorrow - and with THAT being said, you might want to take a peek at their sched and theres that "FA Cup-thing", a semi to boot as well , this Sat vs Peps Boys. its RARE to say something might actually be of 'higher' importance than a UCL KO, but given the situation, I got to wonder how much of that is on their minds. so ill take a stab at the under 2.5 @-110. Tuschel can just put 5 across the middle of the park if he wants to and simply "kill" this match. (pardon, but i havent even looked at lineups/formations, so going "blind" on that here) even conceding the first IF it happens still wont change strategy. taking an under in a 2nd leg KO isnt the 'smartest' thing I should be doing, especially with an opponent whom has to send their kitchen sink forward, but at least im still getting near evens on this.

Spec , well Stats May show psg is a good defensive team but I don’t trust their coach , definitely not a good counter attack team, n you know I don’t trust french teams in CL or europa, other than Lyon lol
Btw we need your copa lib picks
good luck to your plays as always

yoro hope all is well my friend. exactly. thats what i was speaking of in ur thread. its one of those 'misleading' stats (is that the right word?). i honestly dont know how they keep doing it. see Bayerns goal? see whom went flying into the back of the net. whats Mbappe doing that far down the pitch? quick thoughts: Coman & Sane, thats two straight games of cluelessness w/out Lew in there. PSG are all over the place, but it works. dont ask me how. was kind of hoping for their 2nd goal, not cause of thy prop play; but as the game wore on, moreso for the nightmares Flopper would have had. how many chances he get? i lost count. you got any idea? offense just STALLS when the ball gets to his feet. you can play that one 100 more times and we might never get a 1-0 scoreline, thats the beauty of trying to figure out these games.
Chels/Porto - well you know the game must have been bad when the HIGHLIGHTS have to include a defender blocking a pass.
Lib? nothing tonight, couple of nice spots tmrw/thurs. match in paris took a chunk out of thy earlier sweep.

Raq - he is at the top of his profession. 'serie b level...."? judging him solely on one game is stupid and shows your lack of knowledge. he let them play it out themselves instead of stopping every minute.

Not that the outcome would/should have been any other, but calling out a referee to be one of the best of this generation are big words after a weak officiating. Unfortunately there were so many errors by him and his team today. And obviously we all know why you wanted to point out an italian... Well, sh*t happens, maybe it was just not his day.
Neverthless, did not come to pick on you. Been lurking around from time to time in your threads and appreciate the input. GL in the future

Raq, those familiar with my threads know ive mentioned several referees thru the years (some in good light, some not), and not all of them italian. and if you REALLY felt that way about him then whyd ya wait till AFTER the match to blast away? to come back around and give the 'italian' reference is cheap. even if doing such a thing was my intentions, id still never apologize for doing it. loyalty? i might have, blinders? no. but anyways, Daniele IS one of the very best, for quite some time. a status bestowed uponeth him from peers, players, coaches, and those suits & ties up in UEFA offices with their unexplainable "grading process".... not from someone on an internet forum. one gets chosen to hold the whistle for a CL final-WC-whatever based on merit. its a prestigious accomplishment in that field. never "called him out" after the match, it was BEFORE. big difference there. and still appreciate taking the time to stop by, at least you have the cajones to provide reasoning for your stance and for that GL to you as well. on to tonight.
just going to toss up convos.
well, that trend is now at 26-3 after tonight; not applicable to tomorrows. 9-0 this year, cazzo!!
pardon me for being a little gun-shy with these two. but heres thy thoughts.
first of all, we have two of the better clubs in europe whom know how to 'kill' a game; both are exceptionally well at closing off passing lanes whom are bloody dangerous on counters. and both going up against opponents whom keep the ball on ground. so this should be interesting.
by the way, i LOVE that comment: "Flopper pulled a 'Benzema' on us last night"
its getting LATE, we are running out of games. hasnt there been an xtra-timer in every CL the past decade? miss me a good old PK shootout (minus Juve.....of course) if you look at 1st leg results, sets up nicely cause no cleansheets. lets fire up that VAR machine guys, MAKE SURE those GK's stay put. ehhh? never mind me.

Pool/Real - stop talking about domestics. domestic form means SQUAT with this thing. and, you guys know coming back from a 1-3 deficit is 'do-able'. so the first thing going thru my melon is: can Pool put up a cleansheet vs THIS club? im thinking 'no'. can Pool score 3? to me, they CAN.... had this been a final and everything level from the start. but that isnt the case here. Real is simply a far too experienced side to fall into that 'trap' of going back-n-forth. and immediately, as always, when behemoths get together the first thing look at is midfield. Will/Fab/Thiago vs Mod/Kroos/Cas. not even close. and when ur down 2 gunning for goals Ive always felt you better have the advantage in middle of park. it doesnt guarantee anything but it sure as **** helps. heck with figuring out the flow here, Pool can bang in 3 vs anyone when they are on their game & clicking, but Real are a side I've learned the hard way to not betting against in these spots. on the flip side of that, Pool arent a team I want to be 'fading' in this spot either; theyre 6-2-0 @Anfield in KO rounds past 3-4 years. (be mindful, there were up 1-0 vs Atletico last year before extra time). Klopps boys always seem to show up. smells like 2-1 with Real advancing again. ill take a stab with btts + over 2.5 @-123.
Dort/City - will there be a goal in first 26 minutes? Yes @-115 : still refuse to touch anything else on this one. Pep is one of those "bare minimum" coaches, and one of the very best when he can approach a match knowing the opponent has to come at him. banged in 2 early ones vs Glad last round and killed the game from that point forward. @home, up 2-1 vs Real last year; couldve sat back and protect? nope, Sterling bangs one in barely 10 minutes gone by. Schalke/Tott/Basel/Pool? Pep just hasnt changed. doesnt guarantee a d*mn thing tomorrow night, but Im not betting against it. as far as the O/U? my melon getting in way, Dort doesnt need to do a d*mn thing in 1st half. its only 1-2; a 1-0 win and theyre thru; not suggesting that will happen, but from a coaching perspective, theres no need to send kitchen sink forward from the onset. its strange, we could see the team with the advantage (City) are the ones pressing forward first 20 minutes. go figure. got to PASS on it. my feelings are if one is going to take the over, you better pray Dort are the ones whom open the scoring. cause City - like Real above - know how to kill a game. and yes, I know, i DID mention this with Chels, that FA on Saturday. but when youve won 28 out of past 30 (or whatever the heck that is at now), you know how to focus. fyi, Germans have a god-awful record @home during KO rounds vs Power 5 leagues, when the opposition gets stiff? 1-1-3L (4W-4D-5L overall the past 4 years). so those prices on the outrights look about right. however....since Peps boys dont need to win, some of you taking that +1/2 on home side so I can see value on that. just not in mood to touch it.

Copa Sud: (tailing) last of the prelims for Group Stage qualifying Feniz/Torque over 2.5 @+102 - 1-1 last week in Paraguay & Chile. but still remains one of thy fav spots to take an 'over'. when 1st leg ends scoreless, any goal ensure there will be no extra time & playbooks get tossed final 20.
Copa Lib: decided to take the hammer out for this one, 5th of year, hope can keep the goose-egg in L column there. Germio(Bra)/Indep(Ecu) - Ecuadorians completely dominated first leg winning 2-1; 70% possess, 16 shots, 7-1 corners. but this is misleading. Samba behemoths banged one in in the 9th, so their "job" was done early getting the away goal. but also, they were red-carded before the hour mark; so going into bus-park mode was a no-brainer. just cannot see this Gremio side with a roster with top flight european talent, whom are one of the "bigger boys" in Conmebol and Group Stage 'regulars' in this thing, to scr*w this up at home vs an opponent whom have been poor travellers. the ball is round ans as we saw last night, anything can happen but Gremio -1 @+125, regular on O2.5 @-106
