Genoa coming off their huge derby with Samp, wouldnt mind backing them here but these guys are brutal on short rest. just going to stick with the trend for this one: Genoa/Torino over 1.5 @+102 (2nd half)

Serie C: decent start, hoping Foggia can hold on. one more pending as clubs start getting bodies back from quarantine.

Zenit/Lazio - already confirmed in that Lazio will have a ton of missings again due to Covid testing, and whom Inzaghi is expecting to put out there havent really played much together yet. but on the flip side, Zenit is missing several as well as a few others. Russians are not a quick team and take forever to build up runs into the offensive end & this I think plays right into Lazios "plans" as Inzaghi will almost surely stick with 5 in the middle and muck up the pitch. personally, I think their luck runs out tmrw night but going to take a shot at the Under 2.5 @evens.

Feren/Juventus - Juve slowly starting to get healthy again. Christian was a super-sub over the wknd and quickly banged in 2 so hes back up front. Pirlo putting Giorgio in there so our backline might start resembling something of a defense again but fyi, we have a biggie @Olimpico this wknd & hearing reports he might rest a few for the match vs Lazio. backing off thoughts of Hungarians scoring first and our "skirts", not with those two out there. thinking of taking the exact score 2-0 tomorrow, Juventus' definition of a "blowout" is winning 2-0, having 65% posession, and conceding 0 shots on target. but I like this one better, when the best striker of our generation gets 2 weeks of rest vs a mid-tier opponent whom is playing their 5th in 15 days, ill take my chances, Christian to score 2+ @+175. nothing else is worth the while to play with these prices.

I mostly agree on the Zenit game. The Russians often keep it cagey so why not against Italians aswell? Lazio also has a big game coming up this weekend. Both got a lot of mixed results lately so maybe the busy schedule is hurting them both here. I really like the draw at half-time cause I expect a slow start from both sides. 

Chelsea for me is a banker. Lampard got things going again and for me Ziyech is a wizard on the pitch. He creates so much chances for his teammates. Rennes lost their star attacker to Leeds and like you said french teams suck on the road. Chelsea -1.5 should definitely hit tonight. 

Leipzig vs PSG is an interesting game. Paris without their star attackers Neymar, Mbappe, Icardi and midfielder Verratti and Draxler. Some big big missings if you ask me. I like the under 2.5 goals here for two reasons. PSG know how to defend. They’ve kept a cleansheet in the KO round in august against this Leipzig team. Second reason is I’ve watched Leipzig the last two weeks and I didn’t find them effective enough upfront. Werners transfer was a huge blow for them tbh. Normally with all these missings on the away side I would have backed the home win but the line didnt move at all and is still around 2.50.. That tells me nobody expects an easy night for the home side. Draw at HT or a low scoring draw in the end? 

Ronaldo always shines on the big stage and he looked hungry this weekend. Took Cr7 anytime in a few parlays tonight. 

I expect goals in the Brugge - Dortmund game. Belgian teams and Dutch teams are always pretty attacking minded especially at home. I expect Brugge to open up and score a goal cause they need 3 points here. Dortmund on the other hand are on a decent streak themselfs. They always score goals. They’ve rested Haaland this weekend and oh boy this guy is a machine. With the likes of Reus and Sancho feeding him their attack looks dangerous. First I wanted to back Dortmund to win and both teams to score but their away record in the CL is terrible. So I decided to take the over 2.5 goals and BTS for the safer option. But i expect something like 1-2 or 1-3!

 I think you have to look at that 7-2 loss and other “bad” losses like that through the lens of covid. Smaller, newly promoted, lower expectation teams are being hit hard financially but imo, their players don’t have as many mental ramifications from covid as big team players do. Most of those guys are set financially or will be when this is over. They’ve “made” it. So that adds a whole other line of thinking, should I sit out, ect. And their routines are thrown off with the number of games being thrown at them in a short amount of time. While some may argue every team and every player is affected by these factors, I’ll argue that the players from big teams have more of it. Just my .02. 

it was nice to see Pool finally play like they’re capable of playing. Klopp has an issue now tho, start Jota or Firmino vs City? I think it’ll be Firmino but I would LOVE to see Jota get the nod. Ah, big team problems, gotta love em lol
