didnt play in Tuesday's capital cup matches, its an all or nothing approach for me, I sat out and was pleased I did.
But I do like the chances of goals in wednesday's games, 4 of the ties involve EPL sides which usually means goals and the other is an all yorkshire tie but the over in that one is the dog and that'll be a hard fought tie so 5 overs for me. Jesscolb will tell us how we did tomorrow
Some interesting Champions League matches
I'll be watching Arse Besiktas but can't find an angle in it, thats a betting in running game for me but I'll be a Turk tomorrow obviously.
The one bet I do like is Napoli to win in Spain. Bilbao creditably finished 4th in La Liga last season to earn this spot and they are hard to beat at home but 5/2 on Napoli to win is just too big. I have tremendous respect for Rafa Benitez and he will have a gameplan to win this one, Higuain can fire Napoli into the group stages.
You never want to bet odds-on in the CL so I wont be touching talking horses Salzburg but they could be a decent bet in the group stages if they get through.
Leverkusen should breeze through against Copenhagen who are struggling in the weak danish league. the Germans started off the season in fantastic fashion winning at Dortmund, Lerverkusen -1.75

Bollox, I'm waiting til overnight for the possibility I can get a decent price on u3 for the Arsenal match. I heard some chatter about a possible lineup up front and it sounded like a mess from the offensive perspective. Wonder if you had any thoughts on that. BOL to you

whiskey, yeh Giroud is missing, podolski who is the other "natural" striker is out of favor with wenger so there is a question of who will be upfront for them. Sanchez is more of a winger, so he may play Sanogo upfront. That wouldn't tell me to go for the Under here though, while Arsenal should have the quality to win this with a bit to spare, theyve been defensively erratic in the 2 league games and Besiktas had 2 gilt edged chances to score against them in Turkey.
Franz, I love this Arsenal chat we have, of course they're the better side, I didnt say in my original post they weren't!
Great point about Orient in the cup match, 4 EPL teams got knocked out and I'm sure there will be more shocks.

Bollox, I was merely referring to your " I will be a Turk tomorrow, obviously " comment. I have no personal feeling about Arsenal either way. I'm a Liverpool fan.
For me, it's merely a matter of Arsenal being the better side.
No attempt to continue any chat, as you can see by the fact I mentioned my thoughts on ALL games you outlined, Arsenal included.

good luck mr_b, i'm on besiktas because Arsenal's team is mess right now. If (when) Wenger starts moving players around from their previous/natural positions it also means that you have "second choices" at all places... Sanchez is good, but he is really small guy and gets pushed over just like in the first match. odds are just too high to not take besiktas
about Malmö/Salzburg, swedes got that one away goal they were looking for and that means Salzburg still needs to defend well. in the other hand, if Salzburg scores, swedes need at least two and they still need to win...
so arsenal and salzburg blow outs

snafu, arsenal have this amazing record of winning all their CL qualifying matches, turkish teams are usually strong at home and struggle on the road, even with injuries and indifferent form, arsenal should be too good, their late comeback against everton is testament to their ability. GL
