7. There's a reason the best Italian players stay in Italy while the best English players go to Spain. Plus, Giuseppe Rossi actually wants to play there.
8. Hmm ... Sunderland or Sicily? Where would you rather be on a Wednesday night in January?
9. Carlo Ancelotti has forgotten more about calcio than Gary Megson will ever know about footy.
10. Marlon Harewood is worth $10m in the EPL. He could probably buy a ticket to a Serie A game.
11. Andrea Pirlo.

Forza Italia.. I mean Seria A... many great points but can I add one more person after Pirlo, The never say never, always ready for action Allesandro Del Piero.
Del Piero is an Italian that makes me proud to be italian. The class is always there in the Seria A. He is a classy individual and for a man of his caliber to go down and play in Seria B for the last year's regulation to help the team is just amazing for Italian soccer..
I will start posting Seria A next week.. great posts all guys in the soccer forum

Italy is hands down better than England...when it comes to food and the World Cup.
I appreciate that players stay at home to play, probably more than any other top soccer country. Also, the women are better looking!
BUT, Italian soccer is not better to watch, or bet on (match fixing).
Hooligans? What about the cop killing and road flares in the stands?
Those pink uniforms are embarrassing!
No Simon Elliot but you did have Alexi Lalas
The best English players don't go to Spain, Beckhan was old and needed And what about Canavaro
Marlon Harewood is about as good as Massimo Maccaroni...you can have them both!
There's no question the 10 best Italian players are better than the ten best English players but English football is better to watch and most Italian games are Kaka

The ITALIAN soccer players are the biggest bunch of girls i have ever seen! the reason why they were pink is because there girls at heart! One tiny touch and they go down like they have just been shot! They were so lucky to win the world cup im refering to the australia match. down to 10 men and it took a DIVE in the box to get a LUCKY penalty! Bunch of diving wankers! EPL lower clubs may not have have the skill level of serie A but atleast they all play with heart! I like watching the EPL better because they all play together as a team to win and there not afraid to get hurt in doing so.
AND SOME OF YOUR POINTS R JUST PLAIN FOLISH AND CHILDISH GENNORA!!!!!!
I DO NOT AGREE AT ALL

Maybe prettier fans, but fewer hooligans?!! Pre-1985 that may have been true, but the Italians are now the kings of hooliganism, up their with the Turks and south american club football fans...

Rossi's actually American... and not good enough for United... Beckham? He wasn't exactly at the peak of his career and was only a cash cow... Increased Real Madrid's annual turnover by £90m ($180m).. May I mention Gattuso, Cannavaro, Zambrotta, Toni??? Any other English players?!! McManaman? Owen? They only went for the dough...
8. Hmm ... Sunderland or Sicily? Where would you rather be on a Wednesday night in January?
True... But rather be at home... Hot cup of cocoa and a nice warm house,,,
9. Carlo Ancelotti has forgotten more about calcio than Gary Megson will ever know about footy.

Actually worth £3.5m ($7m)... Market forces.... The more competitive and lucrative league, the more managers will desperately spend anything to keep their jobs... (8 sackings this season) thus ramping up the prices...
11. Andrea Pirlo.
Stevie G.... nuff said...

1. Deal or No Deal: Referee Version.
Serie A referees are all a bunch of preening divas.. They actually think people pay to watch them....
2. Silvio Berlusconi turned his AC Milan fan club into a political party -- and won! Imagine that coming from the Kop.
That's cos in England, we're more educated in politics and won't blindly follow a candidate on the basis of his/her favourites...
