I have been buying blocks of 10 houses from REO companies and the bank and selling them for $1000 each. They go as quick as I get them because any house anywhere is worth a grand. Most of them have either tax leins or leins from unpaid power or water bills but so what. I make $500 off each one and the buyer gets a great deal because the lots are worth 5k on average and the houses have value too. Even if the tax lein is another grand its a great deal for everybody. I have sold 22 of these in the last 3 weeks and buying another block of them Thursday.
If they were local to me I would fix them and rent them but they are all over the country so I just flip them fast. I could sell them slow for 2-5k each but I am happier with the quick nickel than the slow dime and this way my buyer can double his money or better too.
Do any of you guys flip properties too? I have been taking my profit and buying physical silver because I think its gonna double in value this year. Any thoughts on the silver investment as well?
