So here goes: if this one doesn't produce, I will be restricting my plays to single games and online ONLY. Just so tired of cluttering up this forum with losing ticket after ticket considering how relatively good I once was...
p.s. Feel free to fade away
MARK SANCHEZ PASSES COMPLETED UNDER 17.5 @ 1.65 * I know it doesn't seem like a very high number, but Mark Sanchez rarely completes that many passes on account of the Jets being a 'run first' offense. After a little over a season in the NFL, Sanchez has only hit 18 or higher 4 times (with one of those times being last week). Couple that with the Jets showing a fairly good ground game through 2 weeks (116 vs. Baltimore, 136 vs. New England) and Miami's so-so run defense (50 vs. Buffalo but the Bills barely ran the ball at all that game, 156 vs. Minnesota), look for the Jets to try and control the clock with LaDainian Tomlinson and Shonn Greene.
CHAD HENNE PASSES COMPLETED OVER 17.5 @ 1.75 * Normally I would say under, but a few things stand out: 1) The Dolphins do let Chad Henne throw the ball (he's completed at least 17 passes or more almost every game since he's been the starter), 2) the Dolphins are unlikely to be able to run the ball effectively (not too effectively, at least) against the Jets - through two games, the Jets have given up 49 to the Ravens and 52 to the Patriots, 3) I look for the Jets to be leading late into the game, thereby forcing Henne to throw and 4) Darrelle Revis is OUT, meaning the Dolphins won't be quite so reluctant to throw the ball.
QB SACKS MADE OVER 4.5 @ 1.80 * I'll tell you one thing: both these guys get sacked alot. Through 16 games the last two seasons, Chad Henne has been sacked 31 times, including 5 times this season. Through 17 games the last two seasons, Mark Sanchez has been sacked 31 times, including 5 times this season. Plus, both the Dolphins and Jets defenses like to bring it and get pressure on the QB (6 sacks for the Dolphins, 3 for the Jets).
Good luck everyone and let's hope I get to post 3 of these instead of 1, or 2, or 3 of these.
