Wasn't planning on making a Pro-Line ticket out of this, but considering the first two picks are more or less dependent on one another, and my book won't let me parlay the side and total together, I guess we'll just have to hope for the best (plus, it doesn't hurt to go for it every once and a while...)
47 SEATTLE MARINERS RUN LINE @ 2.80 47 SEATTLE MARINERS / BOSTON RED SOX OVER 9.5 @ 1.70 *Tim Wakefield fade - no more, no less. That and Michael Pineda's 3-0 with a 1.41 ERA and 0.94 WHIP in 5 daytime starts this season. If ever the Mariners planned on winning another game and win one in convincing fashion, THIS would be the game.
48 PITTSBURGH PIRATES RUN LINE @ 2.60 *Kyle Lohse has been downright brutal his last few starts (7.64 ERA, 1.64 WHIP) and is still nursing an injury to his throwing hand. That and the fact Charlie Morton's already shut down the Cardinals once this season should be enough to help the Pirates salvage the final game of this series.
$100 x 12.38 = $1238.00
Good Luck Everyone!

OVER whenever Wakefield is on the mound is a great play, but your a brave man handing over that Pro-Line slip with a C-Note on the line backing the Mariners.
Good value bet on the Pirates here!
Best of luck, i'll be the first to congratulate you should Seattle hit.

Thanks man. And no... I'm not crazy about backing a team that's lost 14 in a row either but, then again, the Mariners have been hitting relatively well during this road trip (averaging 10 hits a game over the last 5) - they just haven't been winning.
I guess I'm just of the belief that maybe a change of pace with the knuckleball might be enough to get the Mariners over the hump. Plus, for those who are familiar with my handicapping history, I almost always go OVER when Tim Wakefield, RA Dickey or Coors Field are involved (and I've actually been remarkably good at picking my spots this season). So, like I said at the beginning, if I think Wakefield gets shelled, it sort of stands to reason Seattle would have a reasonably good shot of winning this one (and winning by a wide margin).
Of course, the Red Sox might end up winning 3-1, so who knows. That's why they call it 'gambling'...
Good luck with your plays today!

Anyways, I guess we're into chase mode now, so here's one for now (and maybe the Alouettes later, depending on how this one turns out):
MILWAUKEE BREWERS TEAM TOTAL OVER 3½ +120 *For whatever reason, I've never been overly impressed with Madison Bumgarner (maybe it's his name...). Plus, Milwaukee tends to score a lot for Yovani Gallardo (5.46 RPG), so let's see what happens...

Well, at least I got the OVER part right...

MONTREAL ALOUETTES 1ST HALF TEAM TOTAL OVER 17 -110 *Montreal's hit that number in all 3 games. Saskatchewan's given up that number in all 3 games. Between the Rider Defense being just downright atrocious, and the Rider Offense not moving the ball with any consistency, Montreal should be set up with good field position throughout the 1st Half. Let's just hope they're able to punch a few into the end zone instead of having to settle for field goal attempts.
p.s. Good luck FORTUNATESON. Hope your day's been better than mine!

Been very lucky today, so far, after a string of bad breaks... made 2 small $20 tickets, both are live, need the Als -4 on one ticket, and the Texas Rangers on the others. Chalky, and got some luck along the way with the Cubs but i'll take it.
