The bears were an 8-8 team last year , over the years the Bears have been a horrible favorite many time losing SU i just get a kick out of a lot of posters on here talking about the Bears like their elite team now ,,they lost to Viking last year at a time when the Vikings couldn't beat anyone i wouldn't trust the bears to win .
Also if your in a survivor contest you can only pick a team once so picking the easy games using the best teams will set you have a hard time in later weeks

You just contradicted yourself.
You say the Bears aren't a great team, so I shouldn't pick them. Then you say, you shouldn't use a good team because then you have used them all up early.
The idea of a survivor pool is SURVIVE AND ADVANCE. What happens when you take a team simply for value and to save the 'elite' teams, and that value pick loses. Well you look dumb for out thinking yourself. One week at a time...The Bears and Eagles are the only two good teams who are at home and also playing one of the 5 worst teams in the NFL.
Who is your week 1 survivor?

No i didn't contradict myself cause you and the other posters are linking the bears with philly and seattle and im saying it;s stupid to count on the bears to win a game i would avoid playing them in a survivor pool for as long as i can
Now you want to use philly or seattle no way philly loses so that's a win i don't bet against Arron Rogers it's possiblr greenbay can win .
I'm saying to win a survivor pool you have to look at the schedule weeks down the line but to just take the best teams in all the gimme games at the start playing like this yoi soon run out of the easy games .

But your saying the Bears are a good team playing at home i don't know that the Bears are a good team? i don;t like the coach who sent his field goal kicker in on 2nd down in to kick a 47 yd field goal in OT last year vs the Vikings of course they lost that game the coach is a screw ball
And Culter can throw 3 picks in the first half , Buffalo could be very good defensivelythis year watch out if EJ Mannuel don't play like a stiff they can win this game .

We don't see eye to eye on much. Its whatever.
Obviously the Bills can win...Just like the Jaguars could win but looking at the Bears schedule they don't have another game all year I would use them on. So thats why I'm using them
I'm aware the idea of a survivor pool is to use the best value pick while saving the best teams, which is exactly what I feel like I'm doing...I also never said the Seahawks as a survivor, I would never use a survivor against one of the top 10 teams in football.
Again, who is your week 1 survivor. Besides the Eagles and Bears their is no other A1 option. Lions, Denver and seattle all should win but all are more likely to lose than Chi/phi....Another reason I'm going Chicago is I would guess close to 70% are using the Eagles as their survivor, so if they do get knocked out, I survived the wave.
